'Baby-Grima' sounds kinda cute unless you've seen the 'baby'. :D I'd love to see a game with the setting of the first Exalt. Considering Grima apparently did some major terraforming and culling of humanity roughly a thousand (?) years before Awakening before he was sealed.
@@TheOriginalTuhat unless you get a levelup after the fight But to be fair, higher difficulty Validar is actually one of the few enemies that DO fight back well. Taking half damage goes a long way and Vengeance + Waste makes him an actual thread that can potentially kill even your strongest characters (it is rather inaccurate, though).
No matter what new villain came after Grima (Anankos, Hegemon Edelgard, Nemesis, Sombron, etc.), Grima always stood out as the most terrifying. He's so powerful that he can slay Tiki and other divine dragons fairly easily, and he's so giant that he dwarves all the dragons and demonic beasts. He has an attack range of 10-30 in Echoes as a mere baby and uses breath attacks that rival, probably surpass the power of, the dragons seen in The Scouring in Elibe. He displays the cunning of more devious monsters like Loptyr and Medeus and can read people scarily well. Awakening wasn't my first game, but Grima's overall power is so staggering that the enemies that came after just can't compare to him.
Can someone please explain to me why this theme plays for Validar, but not when you fight Grima? It’s an absolute crime because I see this as the Grima battle theme
This is Validar, the leader of the Grimleal, father of Robin. He's very pivotal to the plot. Makes sense to me that this is his battle theme. Vs Grima is better as Id Purpose in Awakening(for plot purposes). Also, Monstrosity plays in the prologue intro cutscene.
