“Ten Pieces for Piano, Op. 75”, the extract for piano of Prokofiev himself from the ballet Romeo and Juliet, “Montagues and Capulets” is the version for this instrument of the “Dance of the Knights”. I love this piece. Overall a wonderful, precise, and technical performance, though I think you missed an opportunity to bring out its more sonorous, oppressive qualities. She was considered a Child prodigy in Russia in the mid 1990's, ( born in 1990 St Petersburg) She is a outstanding pianist . Los Angeles is lucky to have her living and working there

A treat. Prokofiev might not be as easily consumed as the big 3/5/7 (whatever), but it's so worthwhile when your musical palate becomes attuned to it. A great way to end the year.
