I understand home-team calls but @ 3:26 Utah gets its biggest play of the game, a 60-yard completion and you're worried that you didn't get the d-backs name! How about the receiver? Same kid (#11) catches a 41-yard pass, the biggest play on a touchdown drive and I still don't know who he is. I was so impressed I looked up his bio - a freshman speedster (4:36 in the 40?!!!) from El Paso, Tx who turned down offers from Nebraska and Army. Finally @ 6:55 you got it when he catches the first TD pass for the Trailblazers - Beau Sparks. I called HS games for a local radio station and learned to have a sheet on every player with their profiles. On his first catch - "Beau Sparks out of El Paso, Tx": next big play - "He's just a freshman that brings lighting fast speed to Utah with a 4:36 in the 40": TD catch - "This young man averaged more then 17-yards per catch in high school with 38 TD's and turned down offers for Army and Nebraska. You tend to use a description narration, calling the play, but viewers can see that and that's why there bio's can be used to personalize that jersey number. Dribble out a little info on each big play, whether it's one of your own (Montana State) or the opposition. BTW, MS was impressive.
