That’s so nice of that family to donate the pass they had to you guys. I went right when coronavirus began, and they would allow a certain amount of cars in the park and would close after. The park was so beautiful and quiet. Lots of pissed off people on the way out, but early bird gets the worm. Amazing experience, glad you got an opportunity to enjoy it.

Glacier is my favorite place on earth. I used to live in Great Falls and would travel up there over a dozen times a Summer. Loved the beauty. Unfortunately, now, with all the restrictions and full reservations it makes it so much harder to visit. I'm glad you were able to get to see Grinnell Glacier. It's an amazing place.

I and my sister were at the Many Glaciers Hotel for 7 days this past June. The lakeside balcony room was amazing and gave a us nice views. The first day, June 5th had thunderstorms, hail, snow and sustained winds of 40 mph with gust to 60 mph. I remember stepping out onto the balcony, and having trouble closing the door. The wind was blowing from the lakeside and came through the cracks in the door, chilling down the room and overpowering the wall heater. All in all it was a good trip as we also stayed at the Glacier Park Lodge for 3 days.
Thanks for sharing your experience! What time on Day 1 did you arrive to try and hike Grinnell Glacier? And what time did you guys start the hike on Day 2 from Many Glacier hotel?
I did Glacier NP in 2016, before day passes. About the same 48 hours. I booked everything 4 months out and was lucky to get what I got including a Red Bus Tour. Unfortunately I had bad weather and compromised views most of the time. Despite the weather, most parking lots were overflowing. After Glacier, I drove to Yellowstone for 4 days of great weather.
Nice to see Sydney again. It's been way too long. Most of the huckleberry items in that gift shop come from Huckleberry Haven which is HQd in Kalispell. I ordered their huckleberry coffee which is excellent. Nice to see you're able to non-rev to FCA. That was the airport where last month one of your crews had to sleep at the airport because an outgoing flight was canceled and there were no available hotel rooms within 3 hours of the airport.
That is crazy, my parents, my sister, kids and wife and I all went there literally a week before you posted the video and we literally could hardly see anything because the smoke was so bad! But we stayed in an Airbnb in kalispell. Definitely recommend doing that next time you girls go!
In Maui Haleakala National Park you have to make a reservation for sunrise because a lot of people like to see it. I am glad I got to see the sunset. It is nice to be above the clouds for once.
Well Kacey. It seems you & Sydney like to get together to explore the Country. Here's a thought, maybe you both might like to tackle Grand Teton or Yosemite National Park's. next time the urge to travel together Interstate arises.
