I picked up an Anchorage next week and this video is making me SO excited 😍❄️ Different city than Fairbanks, but still ALASKA! Ahhhh. Also you filmed this video and the scenery beautifully. Hope reserve isn't absolutely killing you this month.
Go to Moose’s Tooth pizza for sure. Known for their crazy pizzas. And the Caesar salad is bomb. Turnagain arm is also beautiful. Downtown has some cute shops as well.
Go to Glacier Brewhouse for lunch. Have the ‘Herb Crusted Alaska Halibut’. You will thank me later. ‘49th State Brewing’. Order the ‘Halibut & Chips’. You will thank me later. Finally go to ‘F-Street station for a drink. They also have a block of cheese, w/ crackers, on the bar 😚. This from a 35 year American Airlines Flight Attendant 😊
The video editing is first class. 13 minutes of good feels and smiles for me. All possible because the Southern gals compliment each other sooooo well. Much enjoyed!
Let me tell you omg I love you your videos are so addicting in a good way like they are keeping me entertained during my two week Easter break and making me think about being an American FA
Hi Kacey. I'm so glad you two came back to Alaska and I hope you return again and again. I was born in Fairbanks , lets just say a real long time ago and have seen the Northern Lights hundreds of times. You have to have mostly dark and clear sky's to be able to see them well. Unfortunately in my experience the best opportunities to see the Northern Lights are in the colder darker winter months when the sky's are much more likely to be clear. November through March. Not to say you can't see them during other times but less likely. Murphy Dome was a good choice to go to but the weather prevented you from seeing them even if they were out. Also Murphy Dome is a military site yes but from where I saw you parked I don't believe you passed any restricted signs or do not enter areas so you were fine. I'm a life long Alaskan, and have seen them at their very best. On a clear cold dark night they can be so brilliant and colorful as well as so active moving all over the sky. Even at times you sense that you can even hear them crackling overhead. There are also other areas north of Fairbanks you can drive to and see them well. Out the Steese Highway or up Chena Hot Springs road. I see you've been to the hot springs, the hot springs owners encourage winter tourism for folks to come and see the lights. So I encourage and hope for you to return many times, summer and winter. Summer time there is so much to do if you love the outdoors. The dryer months tend to be spring and mid summer then become a little more wet from then on. So please keep trying, I know once you have seen them in full display it will have been worth the effort. All the best.
You and Sydney are always so fun, when you do your videos together. Just love watching the antics, as things unfold. 🤣😁. Thank you for the laughs, and the great videos.
Hi Kacey Nice to see Sydney again in this video. You too seem to have fun/great time together. Too Bad you struck out again seeing the Northern Lights. Take Care and Stay Safe/Healthy
@@KaceyCassady glad y’all didn’t get out at that park and start walking. It was like in a scary movie where the whole audience is like, “don’t look in the basement, don’t look in the basement”. 😂
Had beautiful aurora here in Anchorage a couple of days ago. Got snow ❄️ today…but 32F is NOT cold, just sweater-weather in Alaska 😉 Hope you enjoyed our magnificent state 😍😍
This is me, looking for some place and ending up in somebody's backyard. For that reason only I'm glad you came back to Alaska to deliver more fun [at least for viewers] 🤣🤣
You guys get so lost , so fun video 😅 !!! I would love to see the nothern lights as well , never seen so that comment from the front desk was kind of weird !!! Thank you for this fun experience , you guys rock 👍!!!
Great video! Such a bummer that you guys were unable to see the lights though. Had the same luck in iceland too lol and I just hope to be able to see the northern lights someday.
❤to you and Sydney. I had a backpack on wheels that I used to take my book, my kindle, Lunch etc. AND the wheels on it tore up like your wheel. It's like they don't even consider people will be rolling their luggage in parking lots -like hello manufacturers - do they think we buy them just to keep them in the closet??? They don't hold up long at all. Great blog ladies❤
What a brilliant vlog! This really made me smile. We don't get much snow in London, so love seeing it. With your flight escapades on the way back made me laugh. I had 12 years of flying, and so many stories. The only place I hated was CDG. Every single time something happened and I missed my flight back. Cant wait for your next vlog!
I’m on tour several months a year and I am glad I get to travel with wonderful people. I’m glad you and Sydney get to travel together. Your experiences are way fun to watch. You go some places I don’t think many guys would go…be safe and keep on exploring
Kacey I loved your mini adventure in Alaska with your partner in crime. LOL !!! You two are so funny. You certainly lucked out in getting on your flights back home. I hope I will meet you on a flight or when you have a stay in Seattle. That would be so cool to finally meet you guys. You really make being a flight attendant less stressful and fun. Great content as always and safe travels always Kacey. Thank you for sharing. TGIF.
Kacey, you are cute in your pigtails and long horn hat. Thanks for posting all of your videos. When you do video's with your friends you sure get to laugh a lot.
Another one of Cassady's funny vlogs. Q. About getting stuck some place. On a full flight does FAA policy permit a non revenue cabin crew person to every use a flight deck jump seat- if it's OK with the Captain.
Our FAI-ORD flight on AA in September was really empty too! We each got a whole row to ourselves. (Saw the northern lights too sry). Going to the Chena Hot Springs was so amazing though and I'm very nostalgic and jealous watching you go.
Hello Kacey, love your videos, I'm a suscriber since a while and enjoy every new one that comes out. But when are you coming to your Love of the French culture . I do know that you went to Paris to study and you are in Love with the French language. I do live in the Province of Québec ( notice the french accent on the word !! ) and we have 8,6 million people living in this province. The majority of people ( 7 millions ) speaks french for first language. All our roads signs are in french and our stop signs are in french ( ARRET) our menus in restaurants are in french ( with smaller prints ). Montreal is the second largest French speaking major town in the world after Paris . When you visit this area you will fall in love with our '' Joie de Vivre '' that you will probably not see in other area in North America. We are just one our by plane from Boston or New York . Of course winters are very cold with lots of snow. In fat the Capital of Québec ( Québec city ) is the town that gets the most snowfall in winter in Canada but we are not stuck in snow. When we get 15 inches of snow, next morning the roads are all open . So if you wish to find out about our area I suggest you see the section called '' Discover Montreal ''' on youtube where you will see tons of videos about the wonders of my area. Also click this addres on youtube to start ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KJgZn8-9zxg.html So when are you visiting our area where the American dollar will give 35% more in your purse with all your family. I'm sure they will enjoy it . Bhy the way I do not work for the tourism board at all lolll . I'm just one of your normal suscriber, that would like to see you wide eyes ( which are very lovely by the way lolll ) on one of you videos ! Thank you for reading this long text Kacey and have a nice day Jacques Paquette from just outside of Montreal.
I'm jealous 😫. I was just in Fairbanks in May for my #1 bucket list. No snow ❄☹ I'm SO happy 😊 for you to be able to enjoy your life & see the world 🌎 Keep 'em comin'.
"A margarine tub will fall from the ceiling. Please place it on your face and secure the elastic over your hair-do." - A (very senior) America West FA. I don't remember all of it but there was also something about using your seat cushion as a flotation device if we crash into a swimming pool or hot tub. The positive side is that, by the time she was done, everyone was paying attention...
Y'all are crazy driving in the dark in the snow in Alaska.. Kacey, I would love to be on a flight with you and Sydney it would be such a hoot.. be safe 😃
You guys together are like a comity team. I know I going to have a great laugh. Girls stay away from Alaska until late July into August better weather and you can check with an Astronomer up in Alaska they can give you a precise date you’ll be able to.make a plan. You and Sydney need to make a travel blog because every time you two go on a trip together I laugh the whole trip 😂😂😂
Great vlog as always! Was this a chater flight? 32F= 0c 212F=100C and -40=-40 Now you know! Northern lights you will see it when there is no clouds, cold and out of the big cities. Come to Norway, I will show you!
We got stinky lucky one time too. Well they over booked the flight and they were giving out a voucher and reroute your next flight for 1 person. Well we were the last ones about to board the plane and lady said you two. Come over here. So they gave us a good deal. Two $800 voucher (total of 1600 dollars) and they got us to our destination faster then the original planned . Win-WIN😎
People have slid off roads like that into the ditch, which means they were stuck there very cold all night, possibly out of cellphone range, until they either walk out if it is not too far to help in the morning or possibly get help from a passerby, if there is one, and they are good people......... watch out for wolves, cougars and bears in Alaska too.
