Wonderful review - thanks!! These are all so very beautiful, magnifique‼Hmmm ... black is classic, sensible and always the best. The blue is trending and ubiquitous but very tempting due to the rubber strap. The green is bold, different and enticing especially with the contrasting black rubber strap. It's impossible to choose but on this digital screen, hands-on experience will be vastly different, it would be le bleu. Merci, abiento. ✌❤
Clasp looks like it made by the same clasp maker that supplies the Excellent Eterna Kontiki clasp and bracelet, one of the best I have ever seen. Good deal.
Truly amazing watches they are, the idea of showing 3 different colours of ice is just stunning on its own… yet we arrived to the problem… who wants to pay 3K EUR minimum for a standard Sellita movement? MB24.17 is based on SW200-1… The only reason I am not buying is this… If they would have increased the price to 5000 EUR and would have used a better movement, I would have considered as the design is amazing!
They are decent watches. They look nice. The dials, the bracelet and strap look cool, especially the strap. The quick release feature and micro adjustments are very practical. Yet I wonder who would buy them. I’ve always wondered about the type of client that would buy a Montblanc watch… I can only imagine a brand loyalist going for these. Someone that has a few of their pens and perhaps a few other desk top accessories or leather products.
I enjoy the dial, though the explorer style dial on a diver is a touch jarring. I wish the bezel insert was lumed. The quick release strap and matching pusher for the micro adjustment are really nice touches.
Love all 3 - very sharp, modern. They look great on both the braclet and the rubber strap. Just wish it was no date or at least wish the the date was at 6. Lastly, I rotate my watches so power reserve is really irrelevant to me.
Could/should be better - yes! At least they could have used the Richemont base calibre (Manufacture Horlogère ValFleurier, Branch of Richemont International SA) other brands of the group share...
I have handled this watch in the metal at a dealer. Especially the black version was good-looking, in my opinion. Pros: perfect size, quick-adjustable metal bracelet, good bezel, clearly visible hands and dial, easliy-serviceable standard movement. Con: the surface of the dial is glossy and, with the pattern, looks somewhat cheap and possibly broken (N.B. personal opinion).
Meine einzige Beschwerde ist the unzureichende Gangreserve. Diesen Punkt haben Sie auch erwähnt.
I heard from the AD that only the first 1k plus pieces has 2 colours of illumination and subsequent pieces will have single colour. Can anyone verify this?
The green variant does come with a matching rubber strap these days and it’s a very beautiful piece. Would’ve walked out with it today but opted for the Tudor rootbeer instead. Definitely will return for this one though.
@@WatchAdvisor I picked it up today and I love it ! I opted for the nato/tissue strap and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely wasn’t fun waiting a little over a month for it but it’s here and on my wrist now so all is right with the world lol
The clasp on the rubber band on the website seems not to be signed, yet this video shows they are signed. I know these ones were from W&W. Do they still sign them? Also, some people claim the micro adjustment is not present on the rubber bands.
I don’t know what Montblanc finally decided to sell to the end consumer in what country … The divers shown are - as you wrote - from Watches and Wonders… Maybe they had a “luxury” configuration there, but do not sell it everywhere… Where are you based?
DEAR ALEXANDER, GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I HOPE ALL OF YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. I HOPE YOU HAD THE BEST AND HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. I HOPE YOU HAD THE BEST AND HAPPIEST 4TH OF JULY OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. 🙏 SINCERELY PETER
Depends on the angle you film it and how the light is reflected by the bezel... It is ceramic and this will happen all the time, also in natural light...
Not too expensive, but I agree in terms of calibre! At least they could have used the Richemont base (Manufacture Horlogère ValFleurier, Branch of Richemont International SA) calibre other brands of the group share...
@@WatchAdvisor I like the brand's chronographs...the green one caught my attention, but the blue one is very pretty...and well, I bought all three with a 30% discount on the total
Not sure how the Seiko Prospex "63MAS" had to update to put a vestigial 3 o'clock lume marker to the right of the date window to achieve ISO, but this doesn't?

Nice pieces, like the Blue and Black, would maybe go blue just for a change from the normal, I tend to go black on most watches. Reasonable price for this on Rubber strap, can almost feel the eye burning stare from the wife as I look at this video. My psychic powers can read the electric fields circulating at this very moment!! (Not another bloody watch they are saying) hahahaha
@@obud3777 movement brand does nothing to me, mate. Ceramic bezel, bracelet far better, look at the dial and 100m more water resistant. Still thinking about the movement?
@@splootan what does history pedigree could even mean though. To my eyes is getting the most for my money. Everything is machine made with a logo, that is really what you are buying. Not like the same watch maker has been making the watch since day one. Now that would be history pedigree. Either way good to chat about watches and share opinions! Cheers

Montblanc always loses on positioning their brand , you can't help but not taking them seriously, at this price point the movement is a joke and is a poor choice from their side. Then we should ask what are they doing with the Minerva movement factory , how are they utilizing it to lift the brand potential in terms of heavy weight horology.
Equiped with a Minerva calibre your couldn't sell the watches at this price point though... At least they could have used the Richemont base calibre (Manufacture Horlogère ValFleurier, Branch of Richemont International SA) other brands of the group share...
