The Warriors need to look forward not backward. They need to build depth with quality role players to support their core players not go big name hunting for one aging star. You need a complete well rounded team to compete against OKC Timberwolves Nuggets Celtics a retooled Lakers and Mavericks when Kyrie and Luca decide to play defense. This focus on KD will put the Warriors in the same bad spot that the Suns are in right now.

Monte must not know about the shots Draymond has thrown at KD after the Nurkic punch. KD spoke and implied Draymond needed help and Draymond said he didn't like it.

Matt Ishbia doesn’t sound like the type of owner that helps a rival team by trading KD to the Warriors. More likely Suns fire their coach and run it back with some minor trades for role players.

I’m also confused as to why everybody thinks the Warriors are for sure going to try and add another Super max or max player when the owner and Gm have been hinting at getting under the 2nd apron all year

If Dubs trading Wiggs and Jk and getting Kd who’s going to guard all the prime wing players of other teams? This is nuts they have to weigh everything on both offense and defense. Kd is not exactly a prime defender.. I don’t know it looks good on paper but when they play against better teams with prime wing Star players no one will guard those so it’s not a recipe for success either. Kd is 35 . It’s good if they get KD and still have Wiggs and JK.. let see..

There is no way to change the current trajectory, unless somebody hit big-time out of the young guys. Old teams never win championships. They caught magic in a bottle in 2022 with Wiggins playing out of his mind.

Yes KD is a star but it’s not for sure that next year he’ll just change the team dramatically, with how the nba looks today the young teams are killin. Then u giving up our future player who in my opinion will become a star for the team. When we first drafted curry I know as a fan I didn’t expect him to become what he is now.,especially when he kept injuring his ankle. I think the warriors should keep faith in our young players and get ready to build , it was gonna happen sooner or later.

Warriors and Draymond are idiots for thinking KD and Lebron are their friends. Those guys want to destroy you the court. You are in the way of their perceived greatness. You try and trade for them and they’ll lie to your face, then go tell your other players you tried to trade for them to generate maximum chaos for your organization.🤣
