Klay is mad because Draymond is making more and he 💯% doesn’t deserve it! The fact they want to bring Dray back but not Klay is crap. Dray is poison.

He ain't mad at Dray. He probably mad that Poole and Wiggins was getting all that max for just one good playoff run while he has to wait until the end of this season just to wait whether we will get a resonable contract or not. I honestly felt both Wiggins and Poole should have been used as sign and trade after the 2022 Finals to get back some assets and solid role players.

They need to get young assets. This team doesn’t have enough young studs outside of Kuminga. In order to make progress they need to build around the youth first and then if they can play with Steph than that’s a plus. If they can get a couple picks and possibly some players then the could be better but overall the core is old so they need players that can play so they can rest the older guys without running them into the ground.

The sad truth is that Steph, Klay and Dray were once the young guys. They need to start mentoring the core and get ready to transition just as the OGs did with them in their time.

Newsflash. Klay is worth less than Dray. Dray can still defend at a high level. Klay can't defend or bring any offense. The worse part is he thinks he is worth more than 24 million 😂😂

They just went through 5 years of Tobias Harris, it'd be a very philly thing to handcuff themselves to another bad contract that seemed right at the time. Orlando and San Antonio could also over spend like Houston last year. Don't be surprised if he gets 30-35m ijs 😅

Can't anyone see that if we don't resign CP3, Looney and Saric, we do what GPII said of reshaping his deal to make it longer for less money each year, and we resign Klay for 20 a year, we are still 30 million under the luxury tax with 3 roster spots. Can't we use 30 mill on 3 big time players? Is that,30 mill, less than what we had invested in Bjelica and Otto in 22?

No. The luxury tax line is different from the salary cap line. All being under the luxury tax means is that Lacob wouldn't have to pay as much tax as they used to. It doesn't free up cap space. The salary cap for 24-25 is 141 million. So even if they waive CP3 and Looney, they will be under the luxury tax but still over the salary cap. Which means, they can't sign any free agents.

Draymond is more valuable and is still a starter. Klay is now a role player. His number with the Warriors is between $15-$20MM. The range that a younger Grayson Allen got. This range would leave the dubs with $10-$20MM for FA.
