Partially circular route within Beigua Park of about 16 km. for a positive height difference of about 950 m. starting from the picnic area "il Curlo" on the Arenzano heights (293) up to Monte Reixa (1183) and a short stop at the Hotel Restaurant "La Nuvola sul Mare" at the Faiallo Pass and back.
Theoretically a very scenic excursion with fantastic views of the Ligurian Riviera, although today's weather conditions characterised by fog and rain have transformed the landscape, which is nevertheless still very impressive.
The route marked as EE does not present any particular difficulties but does require a fair amount of training given the difference in altitude and the stretch where the ring begins from the Passo della Gava presents a discrete gradient for the direct route to Reixa, while the slope is gentler on the side leading to Faiallo.
The La Nuvola sul Mare refuge can also be reached by car by exiting the motorway at the Masone tollgate (for those coming from the north) or at the Pra tollgate for those coming from Genoa and the Ligurian Riviera, and in both cases first following the signs for the Passo del Turchino.
