Monte Sano State Park 

We spent our last day in Alabama this past spring at Monte Sano State Park in beautiful Huntsville. Just as described, the park was wonderfully maintained. We combined two trails, so we didn't miss out on "Stone Cuts", which was the definite highlight of our hike. It had just rained heavily, but we didn't mind the mud. However, it definitely made it a bit more challenging going up and down the mountains, especially carrying two toddlers. It was a great way to end our stay in "Sweet Home Alabama".
