Hallo liebe Dagmar, auch dir frohe Ostern! Ja, das ist ein wunderschönes kleines Dorf in der Region Marken. Es ist nicht sehr bekannt, aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Einige Straßen waren tatsächlich zu breit und es waren viele Autos unterwegs, aber einige der Ausblicke gefielen mir wirklich gut. Wunderschöner Panoramablick... schöne Erinnerungen an diesen Tag. Ahhh, dann gute Reise nach Zypern und... bald in Italien, liebe Dagmar. Eine große Umarmung und ich hoffe, dass es dir auch gut geht (Mir geht es Gott sei Dank viel besser).

It’s so fitting, as we are ready to celebrate Easter, at the beginning we hear those Church bells and the walk inside Church of St Augustine. I enjoyed that very much. By the way this town is very beautiful, look at those beautiful flowers in that little garden. Happy Easter to you, Riccardo.

Ooohhhh, a vid shot in Marche, a region to sooo interests me! The opening shot showcases something that you really need to see live to fully grasp : Italy has this fascinating layout where, the minute you exit an urban area, you're immediately in a pretty much fully rural setting. Even in the north. One minute you're in [name a town] centrale stazione, and two staziones over, you're in the middle of fields, orchards, vineyards, etc... And indeed here, you see a hilltown, a rural setting and the sea, all in one shot. Crazy! Props for showing a pale yellow Panda right in the opening drone shot, too! Gotta love the Sanpietrini - so iconic. Beautiful brick and stone work and overall «greenery» all over town. It looks clean, but not sterile, if you know what I mean? Looks like there is a lot of pride in that town - rightfully so. That shot at 13:56 is priceless : five old dudes, reinventing the world I'm sure! And holy crap, the italians' ability to park a car anywhere there is barely enough space to do so never ceases to amaze me.

Huuuugo, it's indeed a region I covered very very little unfortunately, due to the distances from here. But with time... with time.. more will be "walked in" also there. Beautiful town Montecosaro and absolutely agree with the strange mix of town and urban areas all one after the other. One, once living here, always kinda forgets how it really is... The Panda wasn't missing and of course Piazza Garibaldi as well (+ Cavour)) The ability to park is indeed quite... peculiar, though I found my car scratched a few weeks ago :) Didn't appreaciate it that day

Lovely town. I particularly like these medieval gates integrated in the facade of those wallhouses. Or better said, those houses were build on top of the old walls and connected to the gates. Weather seems very nice already in the Marche. Happy Easter days and nice walks to come!

Glad you enjoyed it dear Stroop; it's indeed quite interesting to look at the architecture of how they integrate the various older part of the towns (perhaps with time). A beautiful day it was - a very very pleasant evening there , I still remember it very vividly. Happy Easter too and... soon starting walking for the new year)

Happy Easter, dear friend!! Montescosaro is a beautiful place! Oddly enough, I liked seeing the children's play area at the beginning of the video. I often wonder where the children play in these towns since there doesn't always appear to be designated areas. 😃 I am not sure why that crosses my mind. LOL. I loved the beautiful flowers, the art and the architecture . I loved the church and the church bells. I always do. I would like to know, and this may be a very dumb question, do the church bells only ring out the time? I can't really tell from the videos. Some of them chime what I would think would be the time but then some ring repeatedly for quite a while. ⁉ Sorry for my ignorance. :) Thank you again.

Ciao Deana, glad to see back here together. It was a very pretty town indeed! Good memories of that day...Actually you're right... compared to like 20-30 years ago, it's unfortuantely not like it used to be when I was a kid too... less and less children around, it gets always quite sad because of that. The bells usually ring at specific times, but these can vary from place to place and from church to church. For example, some bells ring every day at midday, in memory of the Battle of Lepanto and also during Holy Week they have a different chimes at different times. It's also quite complex for us too) depends from area and city even
