10/10 - That cat footage pushed this over the top! Yet another Umbrian town we will have to visit and otherwise would have never heard about if it weren't for your great video. When did you shoot this footage? Thanks again and hope its a excellent day sir!
Yes, that darn nosy cat was hilarious, snooping around in my room. It was photographed in late November, well before the pandemic. You really would enjoy a visit to Montefalco.
What a lovely hilltown. Thank you for taking us there when we can't leave Australia. Your videos bring us a lot of happiness. Keep going, we love your presentation and the walks through the quiet back lanes.
Will they allow Americans to move there to live ?????!! I'm sssssooooo tired of this Harley Davidson hell my little sleepy town here in California has become .
Thank you Dennis..I thought this was superb..loved every minute..much like another follower, we're in lockdown, Victoria Australia..so this is wonderful for the soul.. Fabulous place to visit. You do a fantastic job Dennis..Sending you many warm regards..Janet from Australia..x
My pre-pandemic home for nearly 3 years and you captured it beautifully! It’s home to one of the greatest winemakers in the world; Giampiero Bea as well as Romanelli, Tabbarrini and Arnaldo Caprai vineyards. Those bright rust colored grape vineyards are Sagrantino. A great video !
The Sagrantino wine is a very distinctive one. Not a match for every palette. It is the most tannic, driest red I’ve ever had. The Rosso tends to be more accessible, as they have only about 15% Sagrantino grape.
You definitely hit the "bull's eye" with L'Alchimista! We are very familiar with the area, and the chef, Patrizia is an absolute genius with seasonal food. She is indeed a culinary goddess. Great video!
A beautiful place, love the picturesque lanes/ streets, also somewhere quieter!!😀 have been dipping Into the Live webcam showing the main square during lockdown & wondered about the surrounding areas, Thank you Pam from UK 😀
I’m writing a novel set in Montefalco. I regularly come back to this video to witness the beauty of this city through the screen. I hope, one day, i can witness the beauty from my very own eyes.
Thank you so much! I did really enjoy making the video, although at first it was a challenge to find enough research information because so little is written about Montefalco. Even the best Umbria guidebooks only have a page or two. But that's why this video is quickly becoming very popular, it provides unique information about a special, often overlooked, place. The official tourist information website was most helpful www.umbriatourism.it/
google translate: My city, Itaporanga - SP, Brazil, was founded in 1845 by a Friar coming from this beautiful city. I plan to meet her on my next trip to Europe!
