So, funny story. I tend to really talk super fast when I’m excited about a project. Well, I was really, really excited about this project so I had to literally slow my voice down in editing. I promise I don’t have a cold and I promise I’m not sad but if I didn’t do it some of the instructions got lost. Southern girls can talk fast y’all!!! If it bothers you too much, try watching the video in fast speed. Use the little wheel in the bottom right of your video screen to adjust it. Sorry!! But it really is a funny problem to have!! Sweet Maymay, I'm from the Northeast...New York, and I talk fast too. I often have to deliberately slow down when I'm conversing. I've gotten better since moving to Arizona 20 yrs. ago. I think it's more of a girl thing. We have a lot of genuine wisdom in our pretty heads and it needs sayin'. Just sayin'. :D

You can do this with shipping envelopes too. For A2, use 6x9, seal, cut in half to get a 6x4.5 horizontal accordion book. For A7, use 9x12, seal, and cut in half for a 9x6 horizontal accordion.

This is perfect!! I send out at least 77 Birthday cards a year. I love the thought of making them ahead of time and then just pulling them out when it's time to mail them!! All of the cards I send are hand made , many of them inspired by you!!! Thank you so much for your awesome tutorials!! God Bless!!

Receipts for taxes, orders for home crafting business or even keepsake envelopes for art work your children do. You could do a bag book for each child. It would help dhow progress. It could also be used for your child's years. Put a photo and any other " mileage " type things. I can think of a million uses! Thank you.

Thanks for this tutorial. While I don't see it as an annual B/D organizer, I do see it as a card organizer (Get Well, Sympathy, Thinking of You, Encouragement). I often do a gifting of these cards (4 ea. w/matching envelopes). I've done the boxes, the bags and wanted something different for this year and there you go, MayMay... Thank you!

This is so stinkin cute, love it. My granddaughters youth group is having an auction to help them all go to San Fransisco, to help with the homeless for a week. She's asked me to make as many items as I can for the auction & I think I'm going to make a couple of these. It's a great idea, thanks Maymay. Hugs... Linda

Love it! Great idea! How about precut die shapes (ovals, circles, squares...) or alphabet dies? Pre stamped greetings- Happy Birthday, thinking of you, happy anniversary etc. Sky is the limit. Thank you for such a great idea!

I liked the receipt idea. I work from home and need to keep my receipts. Could edit your PDF to show Date and Description of items on receipt. I think I’ll have a greeting card one as well.

This is awesome. Would be great for Christmas Cards you start making early say in July. Just keep them in there with your Christmas Card list. You could do one or two bags for family, Co workers, Teachers, Craft Buddies, Neighbors, etc etc Also a gift idea to do for a relative, craft buddy, someone who also like to organize their cards, or receipts, etc Just another idea.

I am making this for my sister for birthday cards. Thanks for this, I was making myself crazy trying to design one (she has a lot of birthdays- she's been put in charge of the office birthdays) that would hold a lot of cards, but not take up too much space!

Love it!!! Going to turn it into a recipe book for (hold my head in shame) recipes torn from magazines. Then another for my aunt who joined a dinner club where they take turns with cooking. Have been sending her recipes all decorated up like your "make a fuss" greeting cards. Now she can have something to keep them in??? Then love the idea of making seasonal card sections. Made a couple of Easter cards yesterday that run the risk of hiding or even getting forgotten by Easter....Thank You!!!!! so very much

This would make a great gift for someone who doesn't scrapbook to keep newspaper articles and pics of their kids in. So many of my non-scrapbooking friends put their stuff in envelopes

You could also take a lighter and melt the edges a little it to keep them from fraying. And most people have lighters for candles around the house.

Maymay you are awesome! Great tutorial, I didn’t find that you spoke fast at all. I can’t wait to try this. This has inspired me to use the brown paper bags I’ve had for years to make this accordion album as a thank you album for my daughter’s’ soccer coaches. I can use each bag to represent each of the players and add notes from each of the girls! Thanks Maymay!

Love the album! It is beautiful are resourceful. Will have to wait a bit to make one since in down with the flu. Watched the majority live, then watched the replay of what I missed. It would make a great gift with cards in it for different occasions. Mother’s Day idea.

So cute! A few years ago, My Daughter made me a slightly larger paper bag recipe album I use to keep my clipped recipes in. She included recipes my Mother used to make for Family Gatherings.

I love this idea for not only for cards but for a monthly holder to keep appointment cards invitations, event notices, tickets (for events or drawings) and use an appointment calendar to keep track of the actual appointment but know that all things required for it will be in the monthly envelope. Also, while you were showing the results of stamping the months on the tabs, I thought of something. Since both side of each tab were the same, you could actually have had all the tabs the same direction (for example on the right hand side) for the stamping and adhering of the lists and then just flipped every other one to get a left and right alternating. I was trying to think of a way that I wouldn't mess up and realized this would work as long as I put a list on both sides or not on any side .

I love how you just keep rolling out cute ideas or recreate for us. Your videos are so easy to follow. I simply love your voice and mainly watch. I am trying to get more Scrapbooking done, but would love to do more of your projects too. Never enough time. Sooo cute! I think this will help me make several cards months ahead of time. I’ve been making cards for 3 years but I make cards as I need them. And that is NOT working! Thanks for showing us that you use what cha have... i.e. The Amazon box lid and that you don't get everything lined up perfect... i.e. the front cover lined up perfect. This would be great for embossing folders! You could create your page inserts, emboss the page, label the tab & store both in the pocket. Love this because I've been looking for a way to store my embossing folders with examples.

I counted out with what thought was a dozen bags. Glued everything up, didn’t catch it until I put the month sheets in. I have 14 bags glued together!

Our families always got together at New Years so I went out and got every ones birthday cards and put money in each one. Then I handed them out to everyone. That was the first year everyone got their cards on time.
