Monthly Manga Wrap Up I May 2020 

I finally caught up with all the MHA volumes and i’m now catching up on Attack on Titan !

Planetes is simply amazing, it’s probably in my top 5 manga series I have ever read.

This isn't necessarily what I've been reading but what I'll be hauling next month My Hero Academia volumes 2-6 Dr Stone volumes 1-3 Vinland Saga volume 1 This video is clearly one of your best and I love how much detail is in it I absolutely enjoyed it and it was really stunning!!

I loved Fruits Basket so much when I first time read it years ago that I have been reading it over and over again, at least once per year.

I'm reading Bakuman right now, and it's the opposite with the characters there. They are always positive, even in hard times. I'm learning alot about how the Shonen Jump side of the Manga industry works. Even though the volumes are text heavy and takes over 3 hours for me to read I just want to continue with the next book. I'm up to vol 17 of 20 in just a few weeks. Have also read Bleach vol 1-7. A lot more easy read, hehe. I loved the more chill and ambient music in the background, it's fits well with the books you talked about and even the new graphics. Nice editing with the b rolls. I'm happy to have spent my morning coffee and breakfast with this video :D (gaaah, I'm always pausing midthrough to comment, lol)

Recently I’ve been reading The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service it’s considered a Horror manga which honestly I didn’t know and I usually don’t like but this one I really enjoy it ! Fruits Basket is oooof such a good anime! The 2019/2020 is beautifully made but the old one will always have a place in my heart 😪🖤

Aah i love your editing and music choice so much❤ Honestly, if I were to say all the things I'm reading right now I would have to write my over 20 series that I'm currently reading and I won't do that to you haha😂 But one title that really stuck with me this month was Tower of god. I first heard of it when the anime got announced. I watched the first 5 ep and fell in love so i decided to go read the webtoon. A few days ago I got caught up with the over 480 chapters that are out rn and I'll have you know that it's become one of my fav series of all time. It's up there with haikyuu for me. Now that I think about it I should really do a top 20 fav manga/manhwa list hahaha :). If you get the chance, I would highly recommend reading ToG, you can read it for free on Webtoon. I could honestly spend at least an hour just talking about ToG :)))

Been reading some manga in my backlog such as World’s End Harem and Dragons Rioting.

This month I had my biggest haul ever so I’ve also been reading a lot! I’ve read all of Bakuman, All You Need Is Kill, Evangelion, I started reading Monster and got up to date with Vinland Saga

I've been reading a lot of manga lately: Kuroko no Basket, Umineko, Honto Yajuu (BL), Re:Zero, and thanks to a friend's recc I started Noragami and Claymore! Also I've been wanting to read Fruits Basket, and now that it's available on my country, I'll be happy to read it too 🙌

I can't wait for the next episode of Boogie needs a haircut. I just read The Kingdom of Gods which I got yesterday. It's a new one that just came out. It has 2 stories in it the first being the main and the second being a bonus story. It was interesting and left me wanting more. The art was cool. Downfall was strange. I didn't love it or hate it. This month I got caught up with One Punch Man and Blood on the Tracks. I also read Dream Fossil and Tropic of the Sea. All were great reads.

I read the first volume of The Ancient Magus Bride and also caught up on Beastars, both awesome!

I've caught up with beastars and am now going to pick up the Japanese volumes of jojo's bizarre adventure part 5,english volumes of bakuman,and probably will pick up girls last tour.

I just started picking up Komi Can't Communicate and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Finally caught up to Vinland saga and now I’m about to start reading Blue Lock

Just bought Black Clover Manga vol 1 and 2. And l’m planning to read it soon.

Haven’t been reading a whole ton. I just caught up with requiem of the Rose king and waiting for more Yona of the Dawn volumes to arrive so I can keep reading the series. Sweetness & lightning is also a super cute series I just started!

Downfall, as my first Inio Asano work, was brilliant. I have always had this sort of nihilistic look at books where everything goes right for a protagonist when it's a supposedly a realistic tale. Downfall isn't that. Things go wrong and people aren't nice. Especially the protagonist. For that reason, I really enjoyed it. Plus, Asano's art is breathtaking. Personally I've been reading: If I Could Reach You It's a story about a girl who has an unrequited love with her brother's wife. It's kind of hard to read as I feel everyone has been in a state where they loved someone but nothing could become of it. Pretty good releases too, imo. And that's it... I've been busy this month but have stayed caught up with the most recent releases like Beastars vol. 6 and The Way of the House Husband, both of which came out this week. Thanks for at least giving Downfall a chance. As always, great vid. :)

Im almost done with Demon slayer, it’s not too bad. The action is fun and the story is good, just the characters that fall a little on the wayside. My other read has been fire force, Atsushi Okubo (the creator of the series) said that this will be his last manga, and that things are wrapping up for the story.

ive been picking up a lot of manga while on lock down for covid. wasn't a huge fan with downfall. you explain really well. other than that ive been reading parasyte, monster, gigant, Honda-san, I am a hero, way of the house husband, plus size elf. a lot haha. I also picked up that first book of planetes and I like the story and plot but I couldn't get into it. maybe ill read it when the time feels right again. but all in all ive been really enjoying picking up different first volumes that appeal to me and just getting them. love the vids dude

I caught up with Love is War. Volume 14 made me a VERY HAPPY DUDE. Not gonna spoil cuz I'm a good guy 🤣. Not sure what what I will read next. No Guns Life vol 5 is on the table. Gotta buy it first.

I read Bastard, and I started reading Gantz two days ago (currently at volume 14 of 37) and also continued HunterxHunter (Volume 14) . I finished Downfall a month or so ago and thought it was a wild ride. Very much loved it though even though it’s super intense (I took an hour break in between some chapters).

I read the 1st volume of The Promised Neverland. What a great series! But I will save the rest of the series until it is finished so I can binge read it. My lovely wife got me the anime adaptation that will be watched sometime soon. I am also on the 6th volume of Tokyo Ghoul. I am enjoying it so far...Btw great video production! One can see the love you put into it. Keep it up. Looking forward to your videos coming in the future..Peace : )

I have Fruits Basket in the Tokyo Pop single and wondering if I should get rid of those and get the collector's edition, They do look nicer and I love that they are bigger. But as I started looking at what I had and what I'd have to do and spend to get the others, I decided just to keep what I have. It's the first manga that I got into and collected the fastest. To this day it's one of my favorites out of all the manga I have.

I read The Promised Neverland vol.13 and it was amazing as always I have ordered Tokyo Ghoul vol. 12 but it will probably arrive in June😭

Have been reading Demon Slayer. Almost near the final run of chapters, and I gotta admit... It really sort of peaked for me way too early. Still a good read, just not as great as many people make it out to be

I wanted to get fruits basket but rightstuf was out of stock. So was clamp volumes. So sad but it gets me to save more money for them.

I didn't got any new manga recently because I will buy a bookshelf this week but I do have some I didn't got to read until now. I've been reading SP Baby (Security Police Baby) which is a shoujo manga but the characters are actually adults which is nice for a change. It's only 2 volumes long so not much of a commitment. Edit: it's the same mangaka who did Happy Marriage and Incurable Case Of Love.

Oh wow, i finally know more about Fruits Basket. Everyone just tells me "its a shojo manga" well what am i supposed to do with that? I already barely even look at the shojo genre so i wasnt really interested in giving it a try. Thanks for telling me more about it. Now i might actually check out the anime

Thanks to lockdown aloud me to watch demon slayer, fire force and to start haikyuu. While finally starting to read manga so have been reading fire force , Jujutsu Kaisen and no guns life only got a few volumes in to each but can't wait to read some more manga. Does anyone have ant recommendations for someone just starting to read manga ?
