You need to get screened covers for the tank overflow outlets or there will always be critters getting into them - I knew someone who had a possum and another had birds and rats🤢🤮 love watching your Channel especially house and garden 😎
I’ll make you a deal…if you pay for a plane ticket from Utah to Aus, I’ll paint your house…for free!! 😂 How long is the dry season? Here in Utah, we are the second driest State in the country. We see very little rain from April to October. But…we have the Rocky Mountains that get a ton of snow each winter so we USUALLY fill our lakes and reservoirs every Spring.
You need to get the snakes out of your tank and put screens over the openings so nothing can get in there. Check out water carriers in your area and see how much a load of water costs. We never bought too much water at a time because if you do it will rain non stop and all your tanks will over flow. 😊😊
I would install a 50,000 gallon steel, vinyled liner, rhino / pioneer, or similar brand tank. Could move all the others about the property to collect and feed through manifold system to the 50k tank.
I hope U saved the Green Frog in your Tank as they are GOODLUCK to people who has them... Electric frence will stop kangaroos eating your fruit trees... Cows coming in for the shade of the shed...U need to share it...put awning down side of house but they could kick the tanks... Ship water in to farm...???❤❤❤ New house I hope it's up in the air like old one as U need air flow under it...😂😂😂😂
Would it be an idea to get a diviner in to see if it is worth sinking a bore? Other than that it looks like excellent country for you to become goat farmers.
Love what you’re doing with the place guys. It looks so dry up there, is this an older recording? Our tanks are overflowing and we’re only 2 hours or less down the highway from you. My wife and I did the tree change thing 6 months ago, we sold up and moved from Moreton Bay region and bought acreage just outside of Gin Gin, wish we did it sooner. When we moved in I found all sorts of dead critters and debris in the water tanks so one of the first things we did was clean them up and install a 3 stage filter system with UV sterilisation, so far so good, no runny bums or crooks guts to speak of 😀
