I've loved Monticello for decades, and have visited many times. I still enjoy learning more about Mr. Jefferson's home, and I appreciate the efforts you make to bring us these videos. Please keep up the great work and thank you for all you do to conserve history and educate the older and newer generations.

Gahhhhh this is so cool, those terraces have always been beautiful but I never knew they were designed to collect rainwater too!

pulled out of the downtown ACAC on Monticello Avenue and was staring up at the house on the hill in the distance and wondered out loud “how did they get water? “While waiting at the red light on Monticello and 2nd Avenue I typed in “water at Monticello, “and this beautiful video came up.
