Hey man check out an album called Hunter by A Life Once Lost. Mid 2000s band and i swear the tone they had was like the original proggy mid pushed rythm tone most modern metal chases today. Legit they were ahead of the times and no one even knew it. Just my two cents. The enitre album is sick. Very groove focused.
