it would be a big sin if i don't put my comment here to tell you how great i feel after watching this video. Thank you very much. Remain blessed and see you soon!
Thanks Andrew - that was very clear. I have a couple of questions - I have never used Moodle before, but am thinking of using it as the platform for a course I am building. My course will have each module containing several videos as the lessons. Are these videos loaded by the ádd file' section? Is there any possibility of adding a 'browse' button to search for the relevant file? Thanks
This cloud version only allows for 200mb up load so a course with videos will be too much. You can add moodle to your own website and then you can add as many videos and students as you like.
@@TeflDude Hi!, what I do with videos is to host them on you tube and embed them on a page or etiquete, but I never upload them to Moodle.: Hope it helps!
Hi, This is very informative with step by step! Is this similar for students? Can students access through Chromebook? Is this easier to use than Canvas? Is it better for students to have printer at home? This way they potentially do not have to run to the FedEx on regular bases. Thanks. :)
I missed where you are dragging the files from when you add to the course? The zip & the pdf. I missed something here. Can you clarify? thanks - great course.
I'm a beginner and I do all the things your mentioned and I was really happy. My course do not go into Drashboard (from the administration site)....how do it?
Now it is a free account for 45 day trial. go to 'get started with a MoodleCloud Free Trial' and click on 'create a new account'. Remember 80 Australian dollars is only 50 Euros. So cheaper than other platforms.
after installing moodle home page not viewing properly main page showing line by line ( GUI Not Working Properly ) Jest show below type on home screen "" Skip to main content Side panel 0 Notifications You have no notifications See all 0 Admin Yadagiri Dashboard Profile Grades Messages Preferences Log out Switch role to... Great video! I run an after-school program for NYC kids who are economically challenged. Is there any way to have Moodle on another server, or my own server and be able to host 200-300 students without having to pay the fees on the pricing plan. THANKS
Hi do we need internet connectivity for this or can we install Moodle on the server and it can be accessed that way. It's just I don't want to put it on internet so what is the other way around?
this really helpful, would you mind to share how to show or add an activity result in add a block to show grades of all participants? my add a block doesnt have activity result to be choosen. thank you
You misunderstand, the free option is still there. After the 45 days or whatever, it reverts back to the free edition. It is still free. They just confused everybody with bad advertising.
@@TeflDude It says that I have to upgrade after 45 days. If after 45 days I don't upgrade, do I lose the account and have to start all over again? What happens if I don't upgrade?
@@e.marievalgarsson1107 If you don't upgrade then you have to use it - if you do not use it for 2 weeks then the platform will disappear and you have to start it again.
@@TeflDude actually this is not correct. They do indeed delete your moodle website after 45 + 1 days... I received this email after 45 days: "This is a courtesy email to inform you that your site ----------yenglish.moodlecloud.com has been deleted from MoodleCloud. If you would like to give us some feedback on your MoodleCloud experience, please complete this short survey. We're sorry to see you go, and wish you all the best. The MoodleCloud team"
Hello sir, may I ask if there is a specific core processor that we need to use so that moodle works properly? Our school requires us to have an i5 or i7 core processor as well as an internet speed not less than 50 mbps.
It is an internet based program, so i3 or any intel processor wil be sufficient. Remember, my students were on all kinds of devices: android tablets, iphones, cheap laptops etc... As for internet, I had to use a wifi phone connection from orange and the speed was up and down, generally 15mbps and all was ok I used video sometimes but it wasn't necessary to teach well.
@@TeflDude thank you so much for your answer. I was really worried because the school that I am working at required all teachers to buy a computer that has an i5+ or an equivalent thereof. Also, they said that we should have an internet speed that should not be less than 25mbps. They were saying that if we cannot afford to have an upgraded unit and internet connection at home then we have the option to stay in school (live in their dorm) for the entire school year and pay rent. But that would be hard on my part especially during this pandemic. Also, they said that because we are teachers we should have better units than the students. Is it true that the connection will not matter for the students because it will be the teachers who will hold the classes? I find it confusing because in my understanding the teachers and the students would be using the same portal.
Yes, atch my vid on free webinar, shows how to add it as part of lesson, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fwmFsCDXvmM.html then check out how student logs on and you see both teacher pc and student pc together. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ytwyCtSTAV8.html
