Blacknight is awesome too me. Very tight punch just like blackstar tube amps.. should sound even better going into the effects loop of a blackstar rig like I got.
Awesome demo. \m/ they all sound good. For rhythm, I do like the citrus 50, ev 5050, jcm800, mark v, and pv 5050. It’s kinda tough to choose which tone I like most.
Best GE200 video yet! Good sounds and amps choices! same presets I'm going to be looking forward to making when mine gets here tomorrow... I will post a drop tuned video for the Ge200 soon , using drop G tuned 7 , and then a drop F tuned 8 string.
quick question, new to recording. Are you recording direct into a mic from a speaker or are you plugged into your pedal and recording directly from your computer?
I am plugged straight into my soundcard in this video. If you are gonna plug into an amp, plug into the return of the effects loop and disable the cab on the unit

@@offangandwing6475 you don't even need a soundcard, there's usb recording from the unit. I program drums using the cubase drum editor with superior drummer
This sounds amazing dude! Would you recommend this for a home studio, mainly metal recording. Ive tried the helix line 6 but didn't like the weird hissing fuzzy thingy in the high end. I'm considering getting a axe fx 2 but this sound so damn good. So do you think it deliveres enough for a decent metal sound? Cheers and thanks for an awesome vid.
What hissing fuzzy thing? You sure it wasn't your presets? Helix sounds great in all the demos I 've seen. I am actually considering buying the helix mini stomp thing
@@AntonisKoumpari yeah it sounds really good but when compared to other multi effect processors and especially when listening in a raw recording I detect a slight hissing weird noise that its predesserors (pod hd etc.) also had. But maybe its just a matter of personal prefference. But I wasnt that convinced by the 3 different helix I've been playing. Tried noice gate, reduced gain and different amps and cab sims with the same result. But it might be the patches like you said.
I feel like an Idiot for getting that zoom g3xn over this, I wasn't even thinking straight at the time. I only got it because I'd be saving more money. At least now, I know where I want my money to go and that spending more money is Definitely worth it!
yep, i get first the g3xn, sounds good but this is better, now i sell my zoom and i buy the ge200, amazing metal tones! just the perfect budget stuff to do good djent and modern metal
Have one coming in tomorrow I'll let you know if its worth the Hype or not... No one on any of these video has tried a drop tuned 7 or 8 string on this.... Of course it will sound ok in drop B on 6.. but how bout the low low I tune too F and G.
So if you already have a good guitar tube amp and a Cab, can you use that as just a multi effects unit? Does anyone know if this would be a great choice for that and also work as a backup in case you play somewhere where they can plug you in?
@@AntonisKoumpari my friend described it as sounding like a kazoo lol. Maybe it's the guitar? I was testing it with headphones and had no USB connected at all, so I was just wondering if it was required to use properly (I got it used).

@@truedimebagdarrell there is a big difference between sound from amps and mooer.It does sound very good but it lacks of brightness-warmth of tube amplifier.In that regard it souns more digital.
