That was an excellent demo of those three models! I bought the 010 Two Stones and love it on the drive channel, but the clean channel is comparably sterile and very low output. Unless there was some adjustment being done behind the scenes on your video, the 002 "Marshall"-flavored pedal did not seem much quieter on the clean channel versus the dirty channel. Is that true?
great job on the review, I use the UK Gold on my pedal board , then into my ADA GCS2 direct to the mixing board , the sound is amazing , great for live gigs ,no need for an amp these are really excellent especially for the money , you get a helluva lot for small money you spend on these ........
@@omarmimonarrimach623 They do sound pretty good Omar. I have 4 of them now.! I use them for recording though Omar not for live playing thru my amp. And if you can get the Mooer RADAR. Makes a really big difference and the speaker/cab sims are pretty darn good too. Again only for ear phone or recording. I will say they are worth the small investment.

@@omarmimonarrimach623 Brian May's tone is exceptional and unique. I think people with expensive equipment even try to get his tone. Guitar & pick ups also very important. I think you will need more than a Vox pre amp to capture that tone but I am certain you will have fun trying.
Awesome review 🔥🔥 I fell in love with these pedals, and i plan on getting the 001 diesel or the 009 blacknight. I wanted to ask you, if your amp doesn't have a fx loop, can you run it threw the front of the amp?
ThomasSchuber I'm going to still give it a go though. I use a fender acoustasonic amp just for the clean channel with everything dialed at 12 so it's at its most natural. There's little coloring added, I only use it as a speaker with my pedal board. My amp doesn't have a fx loop behind it, so there has to be other ways to apply this pedal without running it through the fx loops. Lets break the rules a little and see whats happens. These pedals are awesome, and I plan on having the 001, and 008, after I get the 009. I'm hooked on these 'Mooer' preamp pedals, I need 'Mooer' lol 💪😎
flat EQ on amp (no preamp coloring) actualy at max treble, max bass, and zero mid, try it, it will definitly sound much closer to preamp bypass thru fx loop
Agung Indrajaya I finally have the 009 and it works great running through front of my amp. I use it as a distortion pedal on my pedal board and I absolutely love it 💗 Now it's time to get the 001 💪😎

now it's time to construct an expensive pedalboard, a RJM Mastermind PBC 10 loop switcher, all 10 of these Mooer micro preamp pedals, connected to Strymon Mobius, BigSky & Timeline or the alternatives from Boss - the MD-500 Modulation, RV-500 Reverb & DD-500 Digital Delay, then connected to 2 Two Notes Torpedo CAB pedals for dual mono or stereo usage all controlled via midi and a couple of Source Audio Reflex midi expression pedals, lol
not sure if a loop switcher will work this way, but I would love to try it to see if it works. Guitar plugged into the RJM Mastermind PBC or another 10 loop switcher like the One Control Crocodile Tail or similar and just using the 10 send outputs to connect to the inputs of the 10 Mooer preamp pedals and the outputs of each of those pedals plugged into a Soundcraft Ui24R 10 combo inputs for recording 1 guitar track to 10 different preamps simultaneously with or without the cab simulator on. With them on for live, or off for playing with cab sim irs with cab mixer software in your daw, Two Notes Torpedo Wall of Sound/Blend IR, Fractal Audio Cab-Lab 3, etc . You could also record a dry signal and reamp with different knob tweeks on the Mooer preamps, lol
I understand what you can use the speaker simulation for but why would I use a preamp? what are those for except for the fact that they have an equalizer?
if you use a drive pedal before speaker simulation it sounds very bad unless it is a amp in a box pedal. distortion, overdrive and preamps are completely different things. overdrive and distortion were designed so that they could go in front of a preamp channel in a amp. hence, a preamp is used where you dont have a amp in any gig situation or for recording.
