Thank you for sharing this with us! Your knowledge is appreciated Anton! I'll be taking Ol' Grandmother for a spin this weekend! Stay Blessed my friend! Respects!
Have finally had the spare time to get started with this and without realising i had already bought it, i bought the Explorer Grandmother pack last night again... No worries though! Happy for the $24 to go to you for all this great Moog content you've made!! Keep it up Anton! :)
Hello Anton ! If you press the tap tempo 3x it will set the arpeggiator to a faster mode, also maybe check firmware updates I think it's also solving this issue. Thanks for the max device link =)
Excellent video! I am struggling to find an updated MIDI CC documentation for the grandmother. I saw in your video that the swing parameter is CC 14 but this is not in the original manual. I later found it in the V1.1.0 firmware update notes. What documentation are you using? Thanks!
Hi Anton! I don't remember if you mention in this video or in pt.2. I don't own a grandmother (yet), so I cannot try this myself, but can't you accelerate the velocity of the sequencer/arpeggiator using somehow the clock in and the attenuator? Thanks!
Hey Anton, dope tutorial, I also bought the 2 synth packs because its so convenient. Unfortunately, the download for this lesson (Moog Grandmother - MIDI Controls, Ableton Template (by Anton Anru)) is "corrupt" when I try to open it in Ableton Live 10. Any way we can troubleshoot this?
This is really great. I am going to try this on a Deepmind 12. My guess is that if I use specific midi CC numbers this should work with any other hard synth, right?
If a parameter isn't attached to midi, you can record automation. I guess Crave has some midi attached parameters, but not all for sure. Check the manual - midi information, there should be CC numbers
new to ableton 11, I dragged and dropped them in just as described and when I pull them down into the track, the window for the midi controls say ""/volumes/HD/Ableton/User Library/Max MIDI Effect/MIDI Controls.amxd" was not found." not sure how to fix that... any help appreciated. gonn a keep trying to resolve on my own in meantime.
says one of the refrenced files are missing, says theres no candidates and auto search doesnt work, and when I drag the folder over manually it does not work either
@@NicolaBergamo you need to also get the control template thing, what we downloaded is just three presets, u gotta download the other thing in his description too. That’s the missing file
i know this is super old video, but just watching now. I tried to download the preset pack and it doesnt work. I downloaded it and dropped it into user Library, and its there but when I drag it into a project, it says the device cant be found.
