Nice wallk through Kenny! Liked being able to get a look at some of your other gear also! Congrats on the Moog One and welcome to the Moog One Owners club!
Marshal Arnold thanks Marshall. I’ve been watching some of your videos for a few months now. I’m not much of a reviewer. I way too hyper and ADD to do more of these haha.
@@KennyLarkinofficial I thought you did great! Would enjoy more vids from ya 😁 also, if you are on FB at all, Daniel Fisher has setup a Moog One Owners Group (M.O.O.G.). Is a closed group exclusive for owners. Feel free to join!
18.32 minutes and not one sound played ? It's like the other review from this week that played some sounds but so quiet you could hardly hear anything. What are you guys hiding ? This is really weird, right from the start every video including Moog's showcase videos have some issue where the sound is talked over over recoded poorly.
What are we hiding? It wasn't mean to be a demo. It's a review. Do you ever READ reviews in music magazines of gear? This was meant to be the same thing, only with video. I'm aware of the low quality demos online, which is why I decided to not add another low quality one by using only a smartphone to videotape. Sweetwater Sound has a great demo. I suggest you do a search here so you can check out what it sounds like.
Govt Hired Shill Dude, stop wasting time with the back and forth, and just go to the Sweetwater sound Moog One demo, and you can avoid all of this silly banter.
@@KennyLarkinofficial Saw that when it was released - garbage like every other Moog One video since.Hence my suspicion that it's actually rubbish and people are trying to hide it by not playing sounds or encountering some odd "problems".
Yes i know!! haha. I originally made this video for IGTV, which required me recording it in vertical mode. I didn't have th patience to re-record it again in landscape mode.
Typical Moog One owner, so impressed by the sound of it he spends all the vid just talking about it, because he knows as soon as he plays it it will invite the valid opinions that it just doesn't sound anything like as good as its name, its price or its hype would suggest. In fact it sounds downright ugly much of the time, very harsh, very grating and very unmusical. But it's Moog and it cost a lot of money so... duh 'best synth eva'... SMH. Lets face it, this video is to show off, nothing more, and most buyers of Moog one bought one to show off, nothing more. None of them really like the sound of it, much less the slew of issues like high noise floor, stupid fan noise, chassis pops/creaks, creaking keybed, reboots, lock-ups, slow responding controls (randomly) and other weird bugs, but it's the Moog One and to many owners it's served it's main reason to exist, to post videos of it on the net to ... show off. #Facts
Hate much? These are my experiences. You think your long diatribe will take away from me loving the synth? You'll have to try a lot harder my friend. And I know where you're from (gearslutz). You complained over there too. Give it a rest, hater.
@@KennyLarkinofficial You have to ask yourself why so many people are up in arms about this synth. Is it jealousy about the price and people being able to afford it ? and if so, does the Schmidt get this much hate, or the Knifeonium ? No i don't think they do and yet they cost an awful lot more. But still, it's your synth and money so ENJOY, and worse case scenario you can get a good few followers on Instagram with photos.
@@kickksovachicks I did, I even had a pre-order and was devastated and frustrated in equal measures that every video had either sound problems, only talking, or mostly talking with tiny bits of noddles or waveforms ....and at the end of all of these videos it transpired it actually just sounds rubbish,
