It would be really great if you could share some of your Sub 37 patches or settings, if you aren't in it for profilt. I could learn a ton by looking at them.
The final version of this title is now available on the vinyl Collector "The Dreaming Void", a homage and tribute to early berlin school of electronic music, with many analog synthesizers: facebook.com/KurtzMindfields/
KurtzMindfields ... I have one ... it is well kept but not working for almost 20 years ... I am not sure if it’s worth spending the money to fix the power supply ... it was a gift and by that time I was only getting wet fart sounds because I did not know anything about analogue and it is hard to find demos ... anyway love your style of music thank you !
bravo. well done. I've been wondering how well the sub37 can pull of berlin school. you really did a fantastic job in showing how you utilized many functions of the moog.
You're quite welcome. I am flirting with the idea of dipping my toe into synths but I'm pretty sure I can't take my wallet or my wife with me into the giant rabbit hole that will open up :)
You should say thats original TD, something from Rubicon aera. But astonishing is with how little hardware - in comp to TD - you are able to do that sound. Ina way that iam at once remembered the TD trac
I agree, I really love Rubycon album, one of my favorite TD, and influence for shure in that track! The live version at Synthfest : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sdrYgWwWDRo.html
good to say. really partly I'm tinking to hear TD. Well I have grown up with 70-80th TD, dope and LSD. all gone for 30 years and now I bought Sub37 and since 3 days the Grandma. And I know how difficult it is to make the TD-sound. I have my problems with the melodies either. so my greatest respect. besides one quest: do you think a Model15 (not iOS) would sound even better than sub37 ?
Hello, well MODEL 15 are fantastic and shurely sound a little better, but too much expensive, anyway MOSLAB system 15 is less expensive and sound excatly the same! Seb did a good job : www.mos-lab.com/systems
Oh, i record on Magix Sequoia 12 software as a magnetophon, the hardware parts comes from synth live performance, each keyboard is plug on a specific track (to be mixed well), midi connected (Lfo, Sequencing, layering) then i open other tracks and "playback" the first part of the song and record another live performance in overdubbing. Multi-track recording so ...
Multitrack recording (Magix Sequoia), 3 "live sessions overdubbing, anyway i played it in live at the synthfest with 2 sequencers, video will come soon! :)
Joolean Logic well not so easy to explain "Analog Cooking" lol ! Basicaly, there is 3 ways: 1/The Step sequencing with basic 2 VCO bass sound with "moog attack"(Decay short), and the sub VCO to add one octave down sometimes; but the thing is to have a stereo delay with tap tempo and level/feedback to get some diverse rythm effects left-right! 2/ leads sounds coming from 3 presets modified, aftertouch on one LFO, Weel on second LFO, and saturation lead is the "multidrive" and sync VCO effect ... short delay and reverb! nice. Then comes the "Paraphonic", 2 notes at same times, kind of "chords" possibility ..not easy to use, cause quickly saturated... but cool for Mellotron or organ vintage dirty sound! :)
+pco2004 i create the leads from the a basic preset named ODE, seriously modified it, and save it in my USER Banks, like the" Stringotron" preset ... :)
+Kevin Hannon So it's 2 Vco in 4' range (no sub), 6dB octaves, filter 560Hz, no resonnance, multi drive at 3, waves form at 11', Eg Amount at 0 , KB Track at 15 ', Attack at 0 and sustain full, portamento at 3 ... and phasing and reverb!
KurtzMindfields thank you so much! i think ive got it figured out. if you could share that stringotron mod i'd love you forever (i can't afford the m-tron pro right now).
Haha, J'vois des numeros en francais, et un 110f. Du coup je vais visiter le blog et j'me dis que je connais ce visage! On se recroisera chez Artiste Audio!!!
