Thanks for the reminder to Klaus. His music accompanied by my youth. I can hear the music endlessly. He was just the best. Unfortunately he left us early..R.I.P.
I feel like my commentary should be in German.
Thank you very much for your comment! Klaus was an innovator and had a passion for experimenting with sounds, an alchemist of sound. He definitely took advantage of technological advancements and gave us so much. Your welcome my friend 😺👍 Thanks for your visit!
Thank you so much! You're right, it takes much time and patience, sometimes a few prototypes before everything musically agrees, especially with tributes because they are very personal Thank you for your visit and your kind words
Hello Daniel I'm in agreement with you, and your tribute is great as well. Between losing Edgar Froese, Vangelis, and Klaus Schulz, and many others on the prog jazz scene we have lost much. Thank you for your kind comment.
@@soundscapejourneys-wileymonroe A lot of musicians and composers leave this world ;( And we who stay have to make it beautiful and amuse and relax the world! 🌞🌀🎹🪘🎻
What a great tribute you made! Beautiful broken chords, majestic strings, soft peggies and some light percussive elements sprinkled on top for good measure! Well done, sir! I got the feeling that this was pieced together from smaller sessions? Not that decimates the quality, but I had a hard time immersing myself fully because the theme sort of shifted. Especially in the beginning. Great work!
Thank you! What I was mainly striving for throughout the piece was perhaps to created something different, or to provide enough of an emotional reminder for everyone of his works throughout all the years I listened to his music, so you can say the whole piece was recorded into small suites, with an intro and outro, as opposed to following one generalized theme, which I am more accustomed to doing. Thank you very much for your kind comment and your visit, very much appreciated.
Saw td live in radio city music hall on their 1988 u.s Your and was blown away. (Tour). Became a fan of td after watching the movie the keep, and instantly had to explore their work.
Went at one of his performance in Rome at Teatro Valle in 1992,a great gig in his unique sound style, the concert was personally recorded on DAT tape and still sounds perfect....I will soon upload.
Thank you! It is great to discover your channel as well. Once I get caught up, hopefully by next week, I will have to check out your work as well. Have a great weekend, Cheers!
Amazingly well done! I can hear Klaus in every bit of this piece. I’m sure he would be proudly smiling from heaven listening to this. Keep up the great work! ❤
Thank you Ethan! I'm glad you enjoyed this tribute. I was indeed hoping that it would evoke the emotions some what for this sad occasion. He was indeed an inspiration for many. Take care.
Thank you much Barry. I appreciate your nice comment. It was difficult to accept that both passed away not too far apart in time. Their music has been a great source of inspiration to many. Take care!
@@twoism4981 I plan on shifting gears back from synthwave to Berlin school / ambient style soon. I have one more synthwave project that is still a work in progress, but there will be definitely more of this. Stay tuned!
Incredible. Also very glad to see another wonderful tribute to my favourite composer. I did one a little while back too. This really is beautiful though
I discovered just today mister Klaus is dead ...last year Florian shneider and now Klaus Schulze ...too sad ... RIP you have a new soubscriber ^^ greetings from Mons (Belgium)
Greetings in return Madjid. Yes, we have unfortunately lost some really great musicians in the course now of about 7 years. Take care, and thank you so much for your support
Thank you Dwayne 🙂 We have lost too many of great innovative artists who have touched the lives of many over decades. Thank you for your kind words Take care
@@soundscapejourneys-wileymonroe Of course and your welcome. Keep innovating and pushing boundaries bro. Music helps sooth the soul, definitely now more than ever. Divisiveness is for fools, music unites. 😵
Agreed. A great example of his fluid performance is the 1977 live performance on WDR Köln. Great dexterity of playing, quality, and smooth transition. Absolutely amazing.
Hello! Thanks for this question. Actually, I am working on another song at present that will be part of an upcoming album titled Cosmic Circus, and this tribute to Klaus Schulze will be on that release. Stay tuned to my announcement in the community tab on my channel, it will be released to my bandcamp page in a few days. The album will have a few of my best songs plus the new piece I am working on now. Take care, and many thanks for your visit!
Hello Thank you for your visit and listening. That particular string sound was produced by a VST instrument titled Serenity Pro. I don't use that synth that much, but in this instance I used that particular sound because of the dreamy effect it has, and you are correct, it is slightly detuned. It is a VST made by HG Fortune, and for some reason all the virtual synths made by that company all have detuned sounds. I thought it was a nice effect. I appreciate your comment! 🙏 Take care
Well, again, thank you for your comment and your opinion. I wanted to make a tribute to one of the most influential pioneers in electronic music because, as I can speak for many others, I really appreciate his music and inspiration. This tribute is my music, expression, and emotions that I personally felt for Klaus Schulz. Take care.
