@Alex F What they don't understand is that for the most part they're sharing the same fans. They think that when they're battling they're opponents they're both bringing separate fans which is why they think it's bigger than it actually is like you said. If both battlers have 50k followers for example, more likely than not you both have the same fans, that's not 100k fans, besides Surf, Clips & Hitman a lot of these battlers don't bring any new audience into the culture. Smack receives heavy criticism like you said but him and beasley are taking the risk and risk not recouping. I do think battlers should however discuss what they make with each other if they want to just so they can make sure they're putting themselves in the best position possible but some people like a Mook, Lux or Goodz just know what number they want for certain things & don't really care what the other guy is asking for because they put their own value on shit and probably know how to justify it unlike most battlers.
