Allow me to gift you with another ork story: There was once an ork boss called Grizgutz, he and his mob accidentally tapped into warp energy and travelled back in time... now, there are two things you need to know about Grizgutz: he's a notorious cleptomaniac and he reeeeeally loves his gun! With that being said, wen Grizgutz found out he just travelled back in time, he did the most logical thing (to him): he found his past self, he killed is past self and stole his gun... now, I know what you are thinking... "wouldn't that create a time paradox or AT THE VERY LEAST kill his future self too?" Here's the trick: orks are too dumb to understand the very concept of time paradox, so he lived on... with two of his favourite guns! Yeeeeh! Also, little bonus, there is a theory about why Ultramarines are the posterboys of 40k, about why they win so many battles against all odds: basically, it's because orks believe that blue is the color of luck, so Ultramarines are unbelievably lucky.

The whole thing about the orks dying to imaginary bullets was originally a joke from a podcast called Adeptus Ridiculous, and it was a group of guardsmen, not a space marine

Fun fact: The "Tale of the Orks" you told is the "newest" version of an old and more mundane story. Same setting: Guardsman is out of ammo, but he instead tries to use an Ork "Shoota" (gun). As their guns are in reality piles of scrap, it obviously doesn't fire. An Ork however was confused as to why "a perfectly good Shoota" stopped working. The Shoota immediately fired into the Ork's face. (The Guardsman died to the remaining Orks soon afterward cause this is 40k.)

I'm willing to bet the White Scars base was used because the white was probably easier to paint over but looking for a lore standpoint Goblin Slayer's desire to kill the green skins above all else much closer aligns with a chapter of a different lineage, and recongnizing this I'm going to headcannon Goblin Slayer's geneseed originates from the most honorable and venerated Crimson Fists chapter.

Goblin Slayer is the only fully-grown human capable of surviving Crossing the Rubicon for no other reason than he simply hates goblins too much to die.

Seems that Juka is a fan of the Slayer's work. I knew she was an eldritch entity of great taste.

Ork Slayer , Champion of the emperor. Also know as Goblin Slayer. His home world origin is unknown, some sources suggest he from an argi-world where Ork incursions are common. His life before becoming an Astartes is Unknown or the information lost to Times. But with the help of the emperor we managed to recover some information about him. He is the Last astartes of the purged - 2nd- legion after the rangdan xenocide, his memories wiped out by Malcador and manipulated by the Dark Gods, but due to his tenacity and sheer will, he managed to overcome the temptations. His philosophy of war is "lone Wolf" aka. crusading alone. Since the great crusade he is a lonely crusader . Last recorded appearance is at the 2nd War of Armagedon, according some legend around the guards states: "he is the mysterious astartes who always appear kill the orks then disappear". Fighting style mainly focusing on melee.

Y’know it’s crazy how well this clash of IP’s ended up looking. After Moon literally moded the goblinslayers red helmet frills kinda reminded me of the custodies and I can imagine a platinum ranked goblin slayer in a grey gun metal custodies gear simplified. Heres another interesting bit, Orks didn't know about the concept of vacuum space and needing a spacesuit to survive so a bunch of them were fixing a ship from the outside in outer space and no one noticed anything weird until someone mentioned it. The second he did every single ork outside exploded immediately.

Surprised you didn’t give him a chainsaw sword; since that is the primary melee weapon space marines use in 40k (at least to my knowledge)

I can already imagine Goblin Slayer walking into the adventurer's guild still wearing the armor completely oblivious to everyone's staring. Guild Girl: So... what happend on your quest? Goblin Slayer: I killed goblins. Guild girl: .......

The build process was pretty cool. Using a static figure for parts is a really neat idea. And it's kinda neat hearing Guardbro collab with other youtubers.

But then Goblin Slayer realized he is now too big to go into most gobby burrows. He goes into a second midlife crisis.

8:34 actually it was a bunch of guardsmen who were out of ammunition, one who figured that out was the leading sergeant and by the time he yelled *BANG* the rest of the surviving guardsmen did the same and all of the orks flat out dead and you know how the rest goes. If it was a space marine as soon as he heard the Orks chanting he'd be intelligent enough to find an empty rocmet launcher and blow them up.

Dang Goblin slayer has item to summon Abyss for give fair fight .probably can be used in certain conditions and summoned Moonlight Workshop. Bad roll move goblin. You just lead TOTAL destruction to you own species in galaxy level instead.

Ya, it's the idea that all orks are psychics, but only a few wierdboyz have actual direct control over this energy, and they channel all the other orks energy from around them for their own stuff. But orks in general still have a basic psychic presence, most ork guns and vehicles and stuff won't work if anyone else uses them, they only work when wielded by, or in the presence of, an ork, or more often many orks. If you only have a dozen orks on an entire planet, their psychic fields wont really do all that much, and their "tech" level will be a bit more limited as a result, even if using the same tech that previously worked when part of a larger WHAAAGH! of orks. So, while every ork is a basic level psycher, they don't use their powers like other factions pychers do, this is part of the in lore explanation for how you can get overly comedic with the happenings and fights of orks. Instead of each individual ork being that bit more powerful, they just warp stuff around them to be more interesting... or convenient for them. If there's a faction that can be said to have plot armor... it's the orks.
