@@sheliamil4620 I low key watched the drama while screaming happily for Soo ji and Si hyun, I also thought I would end up with second lead syndrome because of Se joo. At the end I got such a second lead syndrome from Soo ji's character. I still cry myself to sleep or imagine their happy ending. I want a season 2 with my and most Soo ji × Si hyun shippers perspective.
Such a shame that they didn't end up together.... I usually don't root for the second lead but damn... Their characters are more suited with each other...
the storyline was PERFECT, not until Joy appear! I love how moon ga young become more tough than any female lead before, but the end was insane. She's not the FL

@@bvddiessim2790 I'm sorry clearly he said it so that she doesn't feel bad. I know how it feels to have feelings for someone and he clearly didn't like her romantically. Obviously he is a good actor so it's his character. He did tell seju that he likes her a lot as a friend. He even knew how much seju likes sooji so I don't think he'll cheat a friend. So...in the end siyeon and sooji ere never meant to be together and it was quite clear from the beginning.
@@uthrapriya7030 He obviously liked her, he clearly showed it by several of his actions but she repelled him. We don't always have to say certain things to prove them ... Also from the first episode we understand that the Sooji x Shi hyun relationship is quite ambiguous (on both sides) compared to that of Sooji x Soju which it obviously only one side. Personally I do not find that the fact that they were not meant to be together was clear at the beginning, it is perhaps because the actors had much more chemistry than expected? But yes unfortunately the story becomes so predictable that it made the drama boring and above all repetitive.
@@bvddiessim2790 I honestly do not think so. To me it was quite clear that they were never meant to be together. They were too toxic for each other, and clearly sooji was too obsessed with siyeon that kind of relationship does not last long, their friendship did not last either for the same reason. I think the writer wanted us to think or believe that siyeon liked her, like misleading the audience which happens in a lot of kdramas. I feel like siyeon and Tae hi belong to each other because Tae hi always brings the best in siyeon which sooji failed to do so. I know a lot of people ship siyeon and sooji but Tae hi was much better for siyeon as she made him a better person altogether. And I'm sorry I don't see siyeon's feelings for sooji to be anything more than platonic. So for me sooji's feelings for siyeon is just like seju's feelings for sooji. I do agree that the actors did a FANTASTIC job, in portraying their emotions.
Shihyun is an annoying guy! He play with Sooji feelings like that when he can't even stand for himself and what he say. "I'm on your side, Choi Soo Ji side" "I can't like anyone else but you" "Can't you trust believe in how I feel.." Etc, and after he falls for a girl he didn't knew two weeks ago, and lie to his friends who's been here for him all his life, and blame everything on Sooji like he didn't agree to Seduce Tae Hee... Ok ShiHyun, ok.

He said those words before he fell in love with Eun Tae Hee, yes those friends was always by his side no matter what he does and he actually knows that and yes he only met Eun Tae Hee for a short time but why does he lie? Treat his confession as a joke and although Kwon Si Hyun jokes around about his feelings we all know that those jokes are true, as they say "jokes are half-meant" but in jis case it wasn't really a joke but the truth, he also couldn't tell the truth about him falling for Eun Tae Hee because he is afraid to admit that he lost the bet and he is worried that his FRIENDS might get hurt if they knew that he lost and so he keeps on hurting Eun Tae Hee, actually Eub Tae Hee is the victim here and Choi Soo Ji is being given a dose of her own medicine. fembot attack He fell in love and he changed. She is very manipulative and cause she feels lonely she needs to make everyone around her suffer, like the art teacher, the lawyer and tae hee. She acts like "poor of me, nobody loves me, but you do right? and you're going to make her suffer to show me that, right?" Sihyun and SeJoo follow the game because they know that she becomes self-destructive if she feels bad. So Ji is possessive over Sihyun and wants him just for her. Sihyun loves her (as a friend) and he is afraid to tell her that he really likes tae hee because he knows she would feel betrayed. And soji is not stupid: she realizes that sihyun started to feel things for tae hee but that bothers her so she keeps insisting on telling hurtful things to her (like at the dinner). Even SeJoo realizes that she is obsessed with sihyun and tae hee. I do not like SoJi but it is interpreted to perfection, the actress is super skilled. SoJi is a complex character that can make you feel sorry for her, can make you angry and can give you tenderness. I hope she learns to let Sihyun go and give SeJoo a chance cause he is a babyyyy in loooovee😭😭 *english is not my original language so its very hard for me to explain myself. Def JΞFF. Pink do you know that in another versions soo ji is a manipulative, heartless, attention seeker and cruel woman? I get your point though. Maybe the problem is the staff put friendship story and make 'a bit soft' soo ji version. And they put joy as main lead. I dont hate joy, in fact my bias in rv are irene and her, but joy have least acting experience than the other casts. Her acting is improving but moon gayoung is great actress and she playing a 'strong' character. So, people will easily fall into her character as sooji than love joy as tae hee. But if you follow this drama from the beginning i think you will know which ones are the protagonists and which ones are the opposites.
Do Hwan and Ga Young such a great couple and great skill of acting. I really ship them so much. I'm crying in every episode because I just can't accept Si Hyun fell in love with Tae Hee. I felt pity for Soo Ji. The man that loves her before was gone. The man that made that stupid promise then leave. Seriously, it is hurt. I hate Tae Hee ! I hate whoever that hurt Soo Ji. And this drama would be the best drama ever if it is just these trio involved without Tae Hee appearance.
You're wrong. Well Suji did the same thing to seejo. Siyeon never said that he liked sooji. He behaved exactly how sejoo does and yet he's put under the fire because sooji liked him? Think about seejo? Anyone would have realised that he is in love with sooji, yet she was so blind that she kept hitting him and playing with his feelings. Tae Hee never wanted to hurt or come between anyone, all she did was fall in love with siyeon. Is falling in love a crime? And siyeon genuinely loved Tae hee and the only reason why he broke it off with sooji was because she broke his trust and crossed her line. Yet y'all hate Tae hee and siyeon when sooji was nothing but toxic. She hurt both her brpest friends, when Tae hee did nothing of that sorts. In end y'all just wanna choose the toxic person.

I was going to watch this drama but I’ve seen a lot of reviews. I definitely agree that Moon Ga Young should’ve been the female lead and not Joy. Sure the director said that her ACTING is good enough. But she’s simply being outshined by Moon Ga Young. Like, their chemistry is so real not after Joy appeared. For real, Joy is not ready for a big role like this type of drama’s. Just give her a more decent yet easy role, this kind of role is a HIGH LEVEL that she can’t easily portray unlike Moon Ga Young. I honestly loved her acting

Honestly I can't with Shi hyun he strung Soo ji along so much, I just can't. I even feel sorry for the girl, I mean sure she can be evil, but in the end she thought Shi hyun loved her because he never said otherwise which has lead me to have this feeling toward Shi hyun where I can't see him happy with anyone. I can't help it because I thought they would end up together. Soo ji deserves to be happy, in the end they all do, I mean just think of Se joo who puts Soo ji on an effing pedestal but she doesn't seem to care about him like that because of Shi hyun while he's off being happy with Tae Hee. lim lizqueen i started hating shi hyun's character when he started treating soo ji like some sort of trash. I mean, come on, how can someone who truly loves his friends will immediately abandon them when he found someone he loves? Maybe he just liked Soo ji before, because friendship is not something you could just disregard easily or give up easily.
I love the second leading lady rather than the lead, it's the first drama that made me want the second lead(girl), didn't watch it cause I really don't like the leading lady's acting

this drama definitely have a powerful line up to begin with, i mean woo dohwan, kim minjae and moon gayoung in one drama?? thats a lot amount of talent. love the chemistry between the three, even tho you don't really need to agree on everything they say and do. i know they kinda toxic. seriously, they could give me a whole 32 episodes with just three of them and i still gonna love it. the female lead character is actually the most boring one, it's a shame. i stop watching at episode 4 bcs it's just became more clear they not gonna give the three big character development or even time to revenge.

In truth, I was going to watch the drama thinking that Moon Ka young would be the protagonist and not because I am a fan of hers but because when I saw small videos of scenes with the main actor next to her I realized the chemistry they had, the passion, etc. I thought she would be the lead, until now that I just read the synopsis of the drama. Honestly, I'm not going to watch the novel (just because it doesn't appeal to me anymore), I have nothing against Joy, but the lead should have gone to Moon Ka Young. They would have been a very good couple (they understood each other, they got out of their problems together, they were passionate and loving).
This could also have been named the "Great manipulator" because Soo ji did a great job of manipulating both guys. Never play with someone's heart. The trap you set up for someone else may snare you.

Maybe the reason why many like gayoung more to end up with do hwan bcoz she has face that looks more like the 1st lead than joy's. And not just bcoz of gayoung and dohwans interaction in the drama
He played with both their heart and at the end he didn't have any decision to choose whom Shi hyun and Eun tae hee are victims in this drama. The real strugglers were SUJI AND SEJU and best couples

Am I the only one who loves Do Hwan and Joy together 😭? This scene proves how much he loved Tae Hee. I don’t know how to phrase it but when soo ji said that she and si hyun love each other to tae hee I could see the pain that flickered across his face once soo ji said those words to him before he buried it deep and said that soo ji did a good job. I was and still am speechless. What was that? Si Hyun could never have loved Sooji it was obvious for me; he never could get drunk or heartbroken over her rejecting him, he could never love soo ji romantically because she used him in a game to avenge ki young. I know si hyun could’ve said no, but it was a mistake he made that he paid for later. I felt terrible that Si Hyun was a pawn in Sooji’s revenge.
I think a lot of people want si hyun and soo ji end up together lol, but it says otherwise. Maybe that's the reason why the rating is very low. I mean... They're are good...but yeah I think Joy need a lot of improvement or just let ga young be the lead female....

this ain't good. Started this drama today, was quite sure that ga young is the lead but after 3-4 ep it became obvious that it wasn't the case, I'm shattered , I don't think I can finish this 💔 would be so painful to watch knowing that they won't end up together, still I'll try
No. The were toxic, siyeon deserves someone like Tae hee. She's the only one he can be himself with, the baby like siyeon who shows his true self is definitely cute.

Both of their characters are pure trash and bad news but somehow, while rewatching the drama a few days ago, I wanted them to end up together? Their personalities match way better than the main couple's.

He was trying to become a better person and in this process he got to know how selfish and TOXIC his friends were(no matter how much bond u have and how many years you’ve known each other for, if the person is toxic , you have to get them out of your life for your own good. Don’t get influenced by these fancy quotes on internet saying “ friendship is the most important in the world” no it’s not , you are the most important thing to yourself and that’s the hard truth.) He decided to change for good and tried to change his friends too but they weren’t willing to change and so he had to take this step in order to be with the woman he was most fascinated and inspired by(taehee) he didn’t just BARELY KNOW HER . She made him a better person in the few days they knew each other once again proving that time doesn’t matter for love or friendship.
