Moon Knight was a fantastic offering from Marvel and Disney+ with stunning performances from Oscar Isaac in the titular role as well as supporting performances from Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. I wish the series was longer but I'm happy we had it at all. Looking forward to Ms Marvel next!

The accent criticism is weird considering from the show, it's clearly as a result of his trauma and from a character he watched as a kid. So it's not supposed to be "accurate" or "good".

Whatever critics says, loved the performance of Oscar Isaac and you have to acknowledge that playing 3 different personality ain't piece of cake. Would loved to see him more as Moon Night with other MCU character, especially if possible with Charlie Cox's Daredevil 😍. Freaking love Charlie Cox's Daredevil 😍..

Are the annoying and bored people whining about Steven’s accent not picking up on the fact that the character was an American kid that copied the accent from a character he saw in a movie??? Why on Earth would anyone expect Isaac’s accent to be perfect when Marc’s accent would’ve been exactly like Isaac’s or probably worse, had it been a different actor playing the role. The character is literally an American pretending to be British… duh! I am not at all a superhero movie or comic book person, but this series really has opened my eyes to the genre, all because of how great Isaac’s acting is! Why do people feel the need to find something to criticize??? 🙄🙄🙄

I agree with Jaby on the strength of Marvel using its big roster of characters. In fact, that's what made the MCU the success it is. People forget but the Avengers were considered b-list characters awhile back. Their heavy hitters were always X-men, Spider-Man and Hulk. The great innovation of the MCU was that they structured their films around the universe itself - not any specific character. Unlike DC, which has now done 9 trillion Batman movies. To be fair though, the animated DC Universe has been amazing with all the characters.

Ouch. This one missed the "Mark" for me. Weird because it felt like there is a stance being made in this one. And one that I can only say anecdotally is not felt by anyone I've come across. First point is not exactly correct either, the 3rd inhabitant isn't Khonshu. Maybe they were trying to avoid a spoiler of just goofed. Hawke phoning it in?

You have to remember that Steven's British accent is based on what he saw from watching his favorite movie from childhood and not from real world experience.

Don't care what the critics think or say...for me and probably for most of the people this was the best Marvel series after Daredevil and Loki!!!

The Republican reference was a cheap shot at people who value life and personal responsibility. "Its not your body" But it is the babies body.

I feel like people are so in a rush to be judgemental towards the show. It is literally the first season and from what I understand, nowadays, there's a different way of telling the stories. I mean we haven't even gotten to his third personality yet and we've already decided that the show isn't as violent as the comics. Just wait and let them complete the story at least.

Yeah that's the thing with the MCU, they are really a Universe. There's more than just one of superhero in just one movie, and they are not scared of letting those main MCU characters go because they have move Marvel characters that they are not afraid to introduce to the audience. And now that the Defenders characters from Netflix is slowly getting their way into the MCU, there's going to be an even larger universe for them. And I just hope that Jon Bernthal also return as Punisher as well.

I love the idea that Iron Man is an "A list character". The MCU was literally started with all the characters they couldn't beg people to buy from them! Sony was offered every single Marvel character for $25 million, they turned them down in favor of $20 million for Spider-man. Then they sold characters off to Fox, Universal and even Man Thing to Lionsgate. Now people know who Iron Man is and Thor 3 can out perform the Justice League but that's because of the work the MCU has put in. Not because the average movie goer had any idea of any of the characters they had the rights to.
