Hey Erik, 12-15 years ago, in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, there were mummies lying around everywhere...no joke. So, it's possible, though unlikely in other museums, that this mummy was indeed just lying around.

When he’s hiding, it DOES make sense that he’s “stifling his screams” but to me it looked like he was pinching his nose. Maybe the demon-thing itself reeks of death.

I'm hoping it's more dark and gritty like the Netflix Marvel shows, if it's on Disney+ probably won't be though, maybe just push the PG-13 rating as far as they can. I mean if not as long as it's good it doesn't matter that much I just like the darker stuff like the Netflix shows, Titans, especially Swamp Thing, etc.

I don't think he's burglarizing the museum, I think he's the museum curator staying late to work on the Egypt exhibit. It would explain why the mummy is on the floor if they are still putting the exhibit together and why he's down in the archives dressed so normally. Plus the white gloves are totally meant for handling artifacts. Maybe he dropped one and released Khonshu.

I started reading reading some Moon Knight comics recently & the most badass line so far is when he talks about Hawkeye making fun of a night-stalking hero in all white & Moon Knight tells him "I don't wear the white to hide myself. I wear so they'll SEE me coming. So they'll know who it is." 🌙 🌘

The statue of the gods at the beginning are more likely to be of Horus, Osiris and a third god being either Anubis or Seth. It’s likely to be a statue about the murder of Osiris by Seth and his then mummification.

@@hunholysaiyan3109 while they are mortal ennemies Set, especially in the earlier dynasties, was not seen as an entirely negative figure. As god of the destructive forces of nature, he protected Re against Apophis. He also served as god of war and the pharaoh asked for his helped against their foreign enemies. The symbolism here is Horus protecting the order inside Egypt and Set protecting Egypt against its enemies

The crocodile probably represents Sobek the Crocodile God . . . who is worshipped by the Ancient Egyptians as well as some Wakandans in the MU.

@@marcobuiatti9802 Currently Moon Knight has been fighting vampires in the comics. This could be a way Marvel is preparing us to expect that from MCU Moon Knight. Plus they always change stuff from the comics. I don’t think Dracula is going to be the main antagonist and I think your right on Sun King.

@@marcelcjr9313 Dracula is probably coming to the mcu, but not this soon. He's a very big character to introduce, so he needs space, and the first season will probably focus just on moon knight and konshu. Dracula is probably going to be a future big bad, probably for a midnight sons project

As a budding Egyptologist, I'm almost certain that the statue with figures was Horus (left), Osiris (center), and Set (right). Ra would have had his usual sun disk, and it is possible it could have been Anubis but more than likely Set because of this square ears and curved snout. Either way, great job and great video!

You are mostly correct! The three figures are mostly Horus (left), Ramses III (middle), and Set (right). Seems to look like an actual statue in real life that depicts those three

It’s too early for the Midnight Sons. I highly doubt that they’re going to do it anytime soon especially with the complete lack of Ghost Rider. Moonknight, Blade, and Black Knight are 100% setting up MI-13 for Secret Invasion.

Love the tone this trailer is setting. Moon knight has mostly always been a very dark and disturbed character, even going as far as to cut Bushman's face off in an ally, ruining his own body and sending him on a drug fuelled spiral in the process. If Batman is dark, Moon Knight is VantaBlack.

1:34, that is probably a depiction of horus, osiris and set. Ra and horus both had bird heads so i can see the confusion. Set is usually depicted with the head of the set animal, which the description of has made people believe to be a giraffe, so its possible he was depicted with the stylised head of a giraffe. Set was represented as a composite figure, with a pointed snout, square-tipped ears and a forked tail. 1:43, the bovine statue with the crown is most likely a depiction of the goddess hathor. 1:49, the idle of the pharaoh there would be a depiction of one of the snake headed gods (there are many gods with the same heads as others), if you look at it closely it doesnt really have human features and there is what looks to be a long tongue. Wow, longest comment I've ever done.

Heard Ethan Hawke is actually playing Dracula. Ethan Hawke is too big of an A list actor to be playing a minor cult leader and he’s on for more than just Moon Knight. That Dark figure in the back looked like it could be Werewolf by Night he’s supposed to appear in the series. They’re definitely setting up the midnight Sons.

1:23 That is a figure depicting Osiris (or, more likely, a Pharaoh - who would have been identified with Osiris) flanked by the Gods Horus and Set - representing Upper and Lower Egypt. The indication being that both Gods are giving their power to the Pharaoh/Osiris.

1:25 This is a replica of a real statue that represents the coronation of Ramesses III from the 20th dynasty. On his right Horus, and on his left Set, symbolizing the coronation of the Pharaoh over The Unified Egypt. Beside it a statue of The Pharaoh Khafraa (Chephren) from the 4th dynasty. 1:45 The cow goddess Het-Hur (Goddess of motherhood and love). 1:49 It's blurry but from the body posture and the way it is standing it is not how pharaohs were depicted. It is a female figure either represents one of the goddesses or one of the pharaohs wives.
