Hey Erik I have a huge prediction for the future of marvel to do with the villains. I believe that they are setting up all of these villain character movies to make us choose sides again like in civil war. Some will be o. The heros side and some will feel sympathetic for the villains and take their side. Makes sense with doctor strange and Wanda potentially going bad

The bit about Morbius being found on a ship is most likely a reference to Dracula. In the Novel, Dracula boards the Demeter, a Russian ship, and kills everyone on board before the ship being shipwrecked near Whitby, a coastal town in the North of England.

After watching NWH could the murderer be Andrew? He mentions not pulling his punches and becoming bitter. Maybe Oscorp just had a glow-up? The logo is still the same. The daily bugle is slightly different because it's the ASM universe, not MCU or Tobey's.

Fun bat fact that might semi explain why the ear wrinkles are a thing: the more ridges in an ear correlates with the ability to gain finer texture reads from echolocation. So bats who tend to hunt in foliage have more grooves than others. Some bats can also dramatically and quickly change their ear shape in order to "focus" their hearing from one area to another.

Sony have the opportunity to make and market something Marvel would never do - which would 100% pull in more of an audience. Look at all these other R rated films breaking records.

I just rewatched TASM2, in the scene where Harry is looking through the Oscorp files there is a file in the bottom right called Dr Morbius, just below Dr Conners. As well as the Oscrop logo being the same in the morbius trailer, I think this proves that morbius and also venom are in TASM universe

I think that the Adrian Toomes we see in the trailer is a version of him that became the Vulture under a different set of circumstances than what we know in the MCU. There's no way that Morbius takes place in the main MCU timeline. Him referencing Venom is a clear sign to me that the film takes place in the same universe as the Venom movies.

Yes Morbius take place in the same universe as the Tom Hardy Venom but there is also another spiderman in that universe. You have Tobey Maguire in Earth-96283 Andrew Garfield in Earth-120703 Tom Holland Earth-199999 Venom and Morbius Earth-616 But there is actually another Spiderman in Earth-616 we don't know yet

@@jmaguire2232 Loki season finale introduced the multiverse full force and venom 2 capitalized on that reveal. So to answer your question it’s not that Sony doesn’t have any idea. It’s all the multiverse and everything is most likely becoming a part of the mcu.
