Chloe has the most incredible range! She can hit any note, low or high, soo well it’s kinda scary! Halle has an old school cinematic tone to her voice that’s going to be better than anyone could have dreamed of for Ariel!

Their talent and their essence sells itself, they don't need to be groomed to be oversexualized and half naked all the time to gain an audience. There is something in them that seems almost too good for the music industry. But I pray that they will always be and remain a shining light rather than a dampened soul.
@TheJCMlove if they want to show skin, there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is forced to dress a certain way, sometimes people do things because it's how they choose to represent themselves. It's not bad because it doesn't reflect your choices.

When they sang songs on RU-vid, they sang songs across many genres and gained huge popularity. Their voices are so good I’d love to see them stay away from R&B for good.
@@KKMDStyle Idk there do it song was great. I think they should gain experience in every genre they like. Look at Beyonce. Part of the reason I love her is that while she does r&b she has also done a little bit of rock, country, alternative, reggae, and even little classical hints here and there in some of her lesser-known songs. That kind of versatility in style and vocals make for a well rounded vocalist, and all of those techniques can be brought and mixed around into other genres. While I think they should be careful not to let people trap them in the r&b box just because they are black, it is also fine for them to do it on their own terms.

Chloe has so much control in her voice it's insane, and she literally has the best range. She has this sultry quality to her voice...it's like this soulful whisper that just percolates your soul. Halle's voice has an angelic whistle quality to it. It's so fine and soft and hypnotic. I would compare her to a siren, just luring me in with her voice. Both their voices are ethereal...their harmonies are heavenly. PS: No one else thinks Chloe has a resemblance to young Lauryn Hill?
The only resemblance of Chloe that I see to Lauren Hill is the red lipstick, full lips and hair. Stylistically they have some similarities, but as far as facial features (other than the full mouth) they look nothing alike in my opinion...... so I RESPECTFULLY disagree.... 😊
I would too. Chloe has a great voice but her singing is very breathy. I feel like in terms of versatility, Halle is a bit better but I don't mean anything mean by that.
Yep. I've been saying for a while that they should cast Chloe for Tiana since she resembles her and sings amazing. And Halle was a great choice for Ariel because she even looks like Ariel. Same face shape and eyes.
This is like hearing Sarah Vaughan and Judy Garland, two of the greatest vocalists of all time, sing together. Chloe has the beautiful, rich, honeyed alto of Sarah Vaughan, while Halle has the airy, angelic tones that defined songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I really, really hope they release an album of the jazz/big band classics!
@@kotomidearu5788 you're so right, Chloe tends to take a back seat bc she always sings the lower harmonies and people pay more attention to those high notes that stand out more. But Chloe is definitely extremely skilled and talented

halle’s voice here… is just incredible. both are immensely talented but this jazzy blue’s genre for a vocalist like halle is just meant to be. absolutely beautiful in the parts she has. a siren, a fairy and angel voice all in one. a song i’ll always come back to. if you want to release a jazz blues album halle we would all be here with open arms 😭

Larontez Moore I think Bey and their team took their time developing them to peak at just the right time! It’s a blessing actually bc the industry really doesn’t develop artists anymore. They’ve been performing on tours with Bey, written beside her, observed countless video/photo shoots, rehearsals, and had her contributions in recording sessions all before they were 17. That type of exposure is priceless and key to their career longevity. Their roles on Grownish and now Hallie as Ariel have built and will continue to grow their presence amongst the younger demographic... it’s genius actually bc their fans are growing with them! I don’t think they’re that underrated anymore.
I know Halle was cast as Ariel, but I would LOVE for her to sing some Once Upon A Dream/I Wonder from Sleeping Beauty. Those notes are so high but she could totally hit them.

They have pure and God given and sound like the ladies in the classical movies and musicals from the 50’s and 60’s. Very few have that pure raw talent these days.
If they don't have a scene where Ariel finds a guitar and starts strumming it, they're missing out on something really special. It can be one of the ways she expresses her feelings for Eric without her voice, and then when Ursula comes in as the decoy and smashes it. Final shot: Ariel is singing to Eric while she plays a brand new guitar and the whole audience melts. Fade out.
