if makkah have no connection to the rest of the world in terms of the dates then what about the arafa day, aren't we supposed to fast if we are not in makka on the day,How can we do that if we differ in dates?
Brother/Sister. Go ask your local imam if you're not in gulf your dates will surely differ from the one in ksa . We in India have difference of -1 day.
It's simple,the day of Arafa is on the 9th of Dhul hijjah. Start counting at your locality from beginning of the month of Dhul hijjah and fast on the ninth,the tenth will be your eid. If it coincides well and good if it doesn't still well and good because apart from difference in moon sighting due to different time zones,the day people are in arafa can be night in your locality .You can't fast at night right? Say they're at Arafa at dhuhr 11.40 am and at your locality it's 6pm.. We must understand that logically we have different time zones
Very nice you personally don’t like this idea but only to show unity to the world be care full!!! this mustn’t be a Shaitan’s trap!!! So we will go far off from our Prophetic way!!! Some how is better to try to unite on the other way which is visual moon sighting!!! Try hard IA Allah SWT will help!!! If there is a will there is a way🙂
Only Allah can open their hearts and minds..... 1 Saudi announces to its nation, not world. 2 Saudi always seem to announce first. 3 The sighting seems to be exclusive to Saudi. 4 No country before or after seems to have sighted when Saudi have claimed sighting. 5 No evidence from the Quran and Sunnah to follow Saudi. 6 Morocco has the best moonsighting establishment in the world. 272 points in their kingdom, every month with the naked eye. 7 By following Saudi, one has made redundant the verses and passages stated in the Quran and Sunnah. Why is it that people are rejecting the clear evidence and instead following that which is not prescribed by the Qur'an and Sunnah? What will it take for people to understand not to follow that which is doubtful, unreliable and unverified? Only Allah can open their hearts and minds.....
So morroco Is the only country in which you can see the moon? Brother you can follow morroco if you want and you can follow Saudi if you want. They're both permissable depending on your madhab Also we can all agree that we do hajj on the same day can't we..
