Hey, but to be fair to Eclipse (which also isn't my favorite Moonbyul song, and I also think Absence is much better), I definitely think it's something she needed to put out at the time! I think it makes the biggest statement about her wanting to blur the lines between what we would consider a "girl group sound" and a "boy group sound," and it really solidified her as someone who can make any style work.
I really love Touchin&Movin as jazz/funk is my thing and I really love Think About as well. Both I find to be songs that have good energy and keeps playing in my head. Her full album is really really good and really highlights her versatility. There are no filler songs which I find rare for a 12 track album and I've listened to the album end to end on repeat since it came out. While some songs are more my taste than others, each song has a distinct vibe and sound that distinguishes itself from each other. Hope you enjoy it!
You should listen to her It's Live. She sounds even better with a live band. And also just listening to her sing this acapella. Moonbyul really blows my mind
Hahaha wizard of Oz shoes. On a serious note, Moonbyul blew my mind with this comeback. Touchin&Movin is my favorite mv of hers to date. She slayed this out of the park. She is extremely versatile and can pull off all genres of music (and any fashion style lol) and she showed the world exactly that!

I agree, she’s really come into her sound and style as an artist recently. I think it really has to Dow it’s how much more comfortable she’s become with her voice and the sheer amount of practice she’s had singing between her solo work, Mamamoo+, and even recent Mamamoo songs (they’ve given her a lot more singing lines in the last so many albums, which is great). But I think one of the biggest things may have been winning Second World. Cause not only did she win, she had essentially perfect marks the whole way, the judges were in awe of her every week, the other contestants were afraid to be pitted against her, and her fans showed up hard for her with their votes. I think it must’ve been a bit overwhelming, but I think it also probably put her in a kind of high. Cause since then, I’ve seen this new kind of spark in her. It’s like she’s genuinely excited to put out new music, and you can feel it in her songs, these two being no exception. I’m so proud of her and so happy for her. I thinks he finally hears herself the way her fans have for years and that makes me so happy. ❤
at first i also thought think about would be my favorite but touchin movin grew on me its so addicting noreso especially when combined with the performance where moonbyul and her dancers are just enjoying it
Thank you for reacting to her songs ! Your honesty makes it so much more enjoyable. For me, it took multiple listen to love Toucin&Movin (but I like funky music). I love her new album (it's my favorite), especially her b-sides, every song is a different song, but all of them feel like her (in my opinion). I'm exited (if you react to it) to see your reaction about some of her songs that I think you might like more than her title track :)
