Even though I’m an “out of sight, out of mind” type of girl, I’m not actually mad at anyone here. I do feel pity for Alan but he really tied up Wen emotionally by all that times he was acting like nothing has ever happened. I consider that Wen is not jumping from one relationship to another as he really fell out of love long long ago ( I think that conversation about “ I was sleeping with you because I felt pity” happened before Wen had met Jim) I do not blame Wen for giving all credits for the final move to Jim as sometimes we do need a firm reason to change our life completely and give up 5 years of our it. I think even though Jim has accepted who he is ,he has never got any support and acceptance ( as Wen’s Dad did, for example) that’s why his very first reaction is blaming. I REALLY hope that Wen would be that “supportive” dad, that could not only influence Jim’s thoughts but will make a trust bound with Ming as they’ve already talked about some other issues but that’s only my hopes. The conversation "i slept with you because of pitty.... and trying to live together as friends is a f- idea" happened in february 2022, Wen met Jim in september 2022 so 6/7 months later, and they had broke up even before that "conversation".
Myself I think Wen understands Jim better than we do. Both are trying to get closure over a past that still haunts them. He may ask for affection but he also speaks to Jim in a soft tone, uses empathy, and touches that support his pain. Wen wants Jim to open without being rushed so he speaks on his past that hopes will make add to the story on what happened to him. He seems to work because he’s been talking more intimate with Wen about his past than he has with others.
Although i love Jim and wen, my two precious boys Li Ming and Heart just melt my heart, the pure love and chemistry they have is just so heartwarming. I hope Jim doesn't go against them being together. In the final episode i hope everyone finds love and happiness, at least clear up what ever mess they have right now. The fact that gaipa has chances of meeting Alan is giving me so much excitement right know,I really don't know if they will show us but we can't stop imagining because for the property and loan stuff gaipa will definitely visit Alan because he works in bank...actually first I thought remember when alan told jim that he will need to contact the person who's documents they are and he'll need to visit that person also...then I was like know they'll meet but no...the plan failed but let's see...even if they meet once I'll be vry happy.......because we want and love there chemistry but the thing is them as characters also like gaipa and alan are both heart broken and I think they need eo in their life
LiMingHeart I love them the most, I feel very happy and sad seeing them, and because of them, I rewatched Moonlight Chicken more than other BL I loved before. I really hope they story line end happy. This series talks about life, expectation and accept even life not going what you want. Bitter seems in everyone, hope at least these 2 will be blessed.
its normal to jim said like that. asian society still hard to accept any kind of LGBTQ. the fact asian ppl or thai's still many of homophobic. back on jim entire story... he was.. !! and Liming mother is the one of homophobic. Jim just didn't want Liming to go through the hardships and pain he had before..
Late to the party but I have to stand up for Wen a bit. Yes he was very immature in not making a clean break with Alan but Alan is also needy and controlling. I think that the relationship was never very healthy. You have the scene where Alan pushes Wen into waking up early and jogging when Wen didn't want to plus the whole thing with Wen eating beef only to please Alan. I have sympathy for Alan but he really brought a lot of his pain on himself. I think the reason Jim is able to open up to Wen about Beam is because Wen doesn't need him the way Li Ming, Leng and everyone else does. Wen wants to be with him but he has his own money and career, plus he's a self confident person. Jim can get support from Wen instead of giving it the way he does with everyone else. Wen is also bridging the gap between Jim and Li Ming and helping them better understand each other which is a wonderful thing. I'm really loving your reaction videos! I feel like most of the comments I've seen are focused on Heart-Li Ming which is understandable because they are sweet, pure and untainted by life. Jim and Wen are messy and scarred but that's why I love them. I relate to both (I have been the Wen in a relationship and I've had to deal with trauma like Jim). Maybe you just need to be older to truly understand this drama.
