i watched so many hours of these specials in such a short time and my brain is fried now :) i hope you enjoy sorry abt the midrolls folks i didn’t put em in
i’d like to ask everyone to refrain from being misogynistic and mean towards mel b in my comments. i would not have put her clip first or in this compilation at all if i knew it would spark such needlessly mean spirited comments. i don’t have anything against her, just thought the clip was funny.
Misogynistic? We don't dislike her because she's a woman, that has nothing to do with it; we dislike her because she acts like an incredibly self-entitled snob who can't take a joke.
This dynamic is like when a teacher decides to sit the quiet high achieving student next to the weird disruptive kid thinking that it'll make them behave and it backfires spectacularly
I would argue that any teacher attempting to predict which of these two is the weird disruptive kid is, as Taylor Tomlinson might put it, wasting their goddamned time.
As a child of divorced parents, you know what there like? The mentality unstable stable older siblings who are giving their poor dad (jimmy) a hard time
i would put that in top10 scenes in any panel shows ever and i did watch henning wehn 90s stories, everything from sean lock, bob mortimer god knows what and that fucking horse story from the scotish one.
I love Noel's laid-back, almost whimsically giggly persona completely changing to being DEEPLY insulted by the sheer idea of Baby Shark that it makes him the most serious and animated I've ever seen him on this and any show.
Richard Ayoade making Mel B's brain explode by eating a banana was one of this show's absolute best moments. Had me on the fucking floor the first time I saw it. That whole episode was like Mel B walked into the wrong show by mistake
@@quanayia9972 I did a quick google search, didn't find what she said specifically about that appearance in her book but I found out that she hid a drug problem at the time (cocaine) that she developed because of her 10 year long abusive relationship. In that interview she talks about how she felt miserable during that time and cocaine took her pain away, she said she didn't take it during the filming of x factor. Maybe this is why she wasn't in a particular good or humerous mood and being confused and irritable.
Oh my god, the face Richard made when Jimmy mentioned Submarine. He just couldn't stifle the smile. Given his usual dry demeanor, he must've been cheering inside at that moment. This warms my heart. You can tell he was so proud and coudn't contain himself.
Every time they team up it’s so easy to see that they’re clearly the strongest team at the start, by the midway point they decide to go balls to walls insanity and come out with some of the most insane answers on the show, then by the end they’re both nearly asleep. It’s like watching kids on a sugar high, it’s fantastic.
The smug smile Rob has as he's eating Richard's chocolate is the expression of a man who is entirely unaware that he's about to be verbally eviscerated later in the compilation
I always thought Richard was genuinely a little mad when his tray of sweets were taken, and decided to take that energy and turn it into a joke. The way he sat on it though, waiting for the best moment, that’s what makes him an insanely great comedian.
Whether from the US or the UK or outer space, just like a Blak person to throw in a "Yo momma" jab! "Was it your mum" and "your mum" = "Yo momma". LMAO!
she’s not used to public entertainment in such a casual, yet high-pressure environment. i can imagine how scary it might be constantly afraid you’ll say the wrong thing, being surrounded by people who make a *living* being funny, a live audience who’ll let you know immediately if you’re being unfunny
this was randomly recommended to me. i have never even heard of this show. and i love it so much these two are hilarious little update: i’ve now binge watched almost all full episodes of tbfq on yt and am now falling into an obsession with taskmaster. i cannot be stopped
Noel’s ensembles are gorgeous - and hilarious - that ruffly New Romantic poetic shirt was amazing. Also, I’ve been watching this for years, and I just noticed that Noel has lovely baby blues.
They have the best dynamic, they really do fit the description of ‘niche corner’ incredibly well. They have the dynamic of longtime friends that end up married but they’ve been together so long that they’re kind of sick of each other but they vibe really well. Like a pair of gay dads/husbands that never get along but just work together. I could just imagine them getting up to all kinds of trouble as like school friends. Which would be a really cool book/show, just the small town’s goth kid and nerdy kid (the kind of nerd that’s into really obscure stuff, probably doesn’t do well in school but could tell you loads about the most random subjects) getting up to all kinds of stuff, like fighting cryptids or solving murders
Watching Richard's explosive mental pong at each of them, again, made me recapture how damn funny it was. Then, the brief breath, &"comedown," when he takes that cola bottle. Splendid. Noel's random outbursts kill me. 😅
Noel and Richard are always hilarious. My first introduction to the pairing was with the IT Crowd years ago. I think they both just do TV to be able to play themselves. They're not that far from their characters in the IT Crowd. Noel wears much the same outfits as his character did and so does Richard. "Subject: Fire. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you of a fire that has broken out on the premises of 123 Cavendon Road... no, that's too formal. [deletes text, starts again] Fire - exclamation mark - fire - exclamation mark - help me - exclamation mark. 123 Cavendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. Yours truly, Maurice Moss. [sigh of relief]" Love those guys!
Just remember if you can't stand Mel b, there is a Mel b-free edit of The big fat quiz of 2015. And the only thing you'll miss is the joke at the very beginning of this particular clip.
@@kellis6462I always assumed that she was deliberately acting stuck up for the show to let the other comedians use her for the butt of the joke and make fun of her
19:05 😂 honestly this has got to be one of the most underrated deliveries. The fact that Roisin just said three shoes like this is normal...and then doubled down.
This was always me and my best mate sat together in school. The nerdy Art Kid, and me the arty Nerd Kid. Matching each other’s weird energy. Them with the emo hair, sketch book full of really good anime art and carrying around the ukulele they would be playing Green Day and MCR covers on at break time, dressing like a crow at any given opportunity, and me with my impeccable school uniform caring a lot about the quality of my education but hating every bit of it, top of the class but could never finish a test because I was neurodivergent and smart enough that SEN felt me struggling to complete any assignments wasn’t a good enough reason to support me because who needs extra time if you know the answers but can’t finish a test to save your life and consistently underperform despite knowing the content. They were really quite weird, but loved and matched my equally niche energy and understood my jokes that would end in shit like ‘naval policy’. Them recovering from self harm and schizophrenia and never judged by me and my undiagnosed autism and ADHD and my subsequent burnout and depression. We’d talk about politics and Pokémon and music and art and niche comedy and anime and mental illness and our experiences as the queer and trans kids our bad acne making our faces hurt all of the time and listening to other friends freak out about the ONE barely visible spot they had on the weekend that NO ONE EVER EVEN SAW until they realised why we sat in silence making no move to offer condolences. When we met in year 7 I had enamel pins of Pokémon gym badges pinned to the inside of my school blazer above the useful inside pocket and they thought it was cool and showed me their fan art of Cynthia and Garchomp. Good times.
Richard Ayoade and Mel B is the rom-com you never knew you needed. At the start of the film it seems like their differences are insurmountable, but somehow the film takes you on the journey of a lifetime to true love.
