I see lots of reactors and comments blaming Wen for not moving out when he knew he fell out of love (even tho Alan asked him not too) of course that would have been the healthier choice, but we need to put everything back in context. Even under regular circumstances moving as a single person is financially hard you need enough for down payment and then pay 100% of the bills (we see that here they still divide them). But now let think that Wen falling out of love happened end of 2021, so after the lockdowns and restrictions mess. Wen works for a shopping mall which had for sure been closed big part of 2020 and still not do well in 2021 as Pattaya is à touristic place and Thailand opened back to tourists only by the end of 2021. So financially he was for sure struggling (and still is as he said he was liviing from paycheck to paycheck). 2022 might have been when the future at his work look à bit brighter with the possibility of a big project and maybe promotion so I m not that surprised that he didn t move. Also going to his parents would have mean going back to Bangkok, quiting his job which finally had future... once again the situation isn t all black or all white here.

Li Ming relationship with his uncle is really realistic. I had the very same with my parents. Constant fights, best not to talk because we would end up with lot s of yelling. Yes, this is common when the family is poor. There is ever going fight to survive. Everybody in the family is under lots of stress. The reason for Li Ming and Heart's fast and deep attachment is simple, they are both unhappy, people around them don't really see them for they really are. When they are together they finally can breath freely and be themselves. When to comes to T Shirt, let us just say at least it made onto the bed.😁Wens character is like a stray cat that decided that it likes you, comes into you house whenever it likes, ask shamelessly for a food, and as a present it allows you to stroke it. Jim doesn't realized he never had the choice, the cat Wen keep staring into his eyes.

You are a bit harsh with Wen , His friend clearly said when speaking with Wen that the apartment was also his so it s not like he was living in Alan s apartment and went from one boyfriend apartment to another. And talking about boyfriend he fall out of love with Alan over a year ago so once again not like he jump from one to another. He also bought food that he offered to Jim. And I think it is fair to try to go where you feel the best when feeling lost, after I do think he should have gone to a hotel for that night , but I guess his reflex was to go where he thinks is his "home". About LiMing and Jim, I think the fault is 50/50, Jim only treat him as a Child and definitely lack communication and listening skills and LiMing his the teenage cliché who is driven by emotion and needs à serious reality check. The Work/Travel thing is great but unlike the visa to go as an "au pair" where every cost is paid by the host family, under the working holiday visa you have to pay/work for everything. And him even thinking being a bartender just show how disconnected he is from reality, he is 17/18 to be a bartender in the states you have to be 21, being a server might work or helping in farms (would be easier to go to Australia.). And the visa is only valid à year so you do have to think ahead to have at least a plan A and B, because being abroad when you have to register somewhere is not easy and the year will fly by and once back he will feel just as lost and disconnected. (If that sound too real it s because it is, I did go to NY for 19 months between ny 19 and 21, had à great life but once back home it wasn t easy trying to rush finding a university, picking basically first thing coming to my head). All this to say that everyone is right and wrong here and that s what makes this serie so realistic. Totally agree with you about Heart and LiMing bond.

@@2222titia Comparing Wen to stray cat, was meant to be on funny note. With his head putting on Jim shoulder or his face close to Jim's face. I fully understand what is like emigrating and working abroad as myself am an emigrant. When you spent all your money on the plane ticket, a you have only $200 dollars in your pocket and going to into unknown and know no one. This show for me is like walking down the memory line, even have been in the similar relationship like Wen and Alan. I love this show to pieces, and I can see that you are also very involved too. I am upset than this is the last week with Moonlight chicken, as we are approaching the finale. Happy watching!😉

The timeline. - Wen first told Alan they were done before February 2022, alan asking him to stay and live as friends (they still did have s€x at least once). - In feb.2022 SPOILER to next episode, they have a argument because this arrangement obviously does not work and make them both miserable, but at the end of it Alan still said that he will try to be a better friend to him, so Wen still doesn t move out, big mistake (the apartment belongs to both, no s€x after that of course and each on his side of the bed, I do think Wen slept on the floor a lot too, according to what he says in another episode) - September 2022 (ep1), Wen meet Jim, LiMing meet Heart. - End of Ep 4, Christmas Eve.

I think someone said that Earth is supposed to be playing a man that's in his early 40's. So technically, compared to the guys in their 20s that's pretty old, as his age would be at least double their age. The problem is Earth does not look like someone who is in their 40's. He is actually 29 I think in real life and he's trying to play a 40 year old man. He's good at acting different ages but he physically does not look like a 40 year old. However, the characters are acting as if he looks his age (40ish) and that's why they are teasing him. So it's kind of odd since he doesn't look 40. If they were trying to make him be 35ish, I could see that. But not 40.

As a person who recently got divorced i must said i almost had to kept living with my ex... There is a lot of context as why i didnt have much of a choice at the time I was in a very similar position as Wen Is NOT healthy is NOT ok but is real , it happens and i think what is not ok is to only blame either Alan or Wen
