@Andrey Lednev, What language did you watch it in? I still remember the russian voice actors, and the scene still moves me... even after more than 20 years. Has it been 22 years now?
@@DarkSunParadox in Russian. Now i see that it is less emotional than original, but at that time it was like an earthquake for me. More than 22 years actually, i was at school that time.
1. Better sound quality. 2. Subtitles suck. People want to watch a show, not read the script. 3. DiC developed actual music for this scene. Unlike Toei's lazy production staff, who just reused the opening theme.
@@AaronCMounts 1. No 2. No they don't, if you're 5 and can't read don't tell others that subs suck. 3. The "lazy production staff" used the opening theme to make the scene better. And also, look who's talking about Laziness, half of the DIC soundtrack is just a remix of moonlight Densetsu
@@ozvuchkibilla 1. The difference in sound quality between the DiC dub and this one is blatantly obvious. This one sounds like a cheap, overused VHS from the '80s, while the DiC sounds like a normal TV show. The comparison is not even close. Wow! Not to mention the obvious phoned-in performances by the Japanese Seiyu. 2. Yes, subtitles actually do suck. That has nothing to do with reading comprehension, and everything to do with preferring to watch a show, rather than read its script. 3. Toei was exceptionally lazy with Season 1 of this cartoon. Season 1 was a low-budget production for Toei, who already had bigger (in 1991), well established, profitable franchises in their library. The cartoon's surprising popularity is what got it a major quality boost when Toei started working on Season to. As for DiC's music, that's called 'staying on theme', and it's what Bob Summers and Don Perry were instructed to do when composing / producing music for the show; it's also what a decent TV show does to make itself more memorable. It's also why the DiC dub is the better, more well-known version, while the old Japanese dub languishes in obscurity to everyone but weebs.
Guys!!!! Would it be possible to defeat or kill Queen Beryl usin' standard-issue weapons? Like Backstab 128.5 pistol, Merkov shotgun, assault rifles like Sabrine MK4, sniper rifle, FG42 paratroop rifle, or missile launcher?
