Love this song, as I do all of Cat Steven's songs since I started listening to him back in 1971 when I was stationed in the Philippines. The SJ-200 was the perfect guitar for this lesson I think. Thanks for the lesson Mike and have a great weekend!
I find it impossible to maintain a D chord and have my thumb cover the 5th string. If I do, I mute the 1st and 2nd strings. Either my guitar neck is too big or my hands are too small.
@@dublinbluetune I get it Dub… no worries… try index on string 5 fret 2, middle on string 3 fret 2, and ring finger on string 2 fret 3. Play strings 5 through 2. It’s a simplified Bm (actually a Bm7), but works just as well in this tune. Thanks for watching!
