The last time I got to see him before he passed on , my great aunt had just passed away , even though sad ness was in the air Gilford still made everyone feel the love in their home . I myself live in east tennessee & the times we did get to see him were good times .
What I would give to be able to experience this in real life. I'm from the mountains and you can learn so much from your elders! It may not be the most conventional way of doing things but it works! I miss the mountains and hope to retire there someday.
And what was it in that wine that made him drunk? Alkyhol. I could watch this a hundred times a day. If I close my eyes, it could be my grandpa in this video. Thank you for making this film, highproof.
Gilford Williams is also my Great Uncle and a GREAT Uncle he was! :) He always gave me backer sugar "tobacco kisses" every morning and every eve. getting on and off the bus..lol He was awesome.

with a still and steady supplies I would never leave the woods and ya'll would never know who made it. and so you make it your life purpose to find the great moonshine maker. sadly. you fail and wake up and realized that the journey you embarked on was just a dream and there was no real mystery moonshine maker. although, you'd like to think so.
My Daddy used to take a quart of his shine and put a teaspoon of honey in it to cure our colds. Worked until my little sister Lisa died of pneumonia,. oops come on Daddy defend your sorry ass.
For all you people that think Noah didn't know what he was doing is a fool because you have to use sugar and yeast and make wine so he knew what the hell he was doing so. So shame on people that say if you drink your going g to hell.
