I believe Mark and Digger are my two favorite characters in this series. I never hear them complain about each other - they work seamlessly. They're charitable to others in need and they're experts in their craft. Who could complain about anything?
@@reallyriley123 Mark and digger are the best I wish I could learn from them, but Tim's cool bro he seems like he came from money but he seems like a good dude
@@ajfromcjbasements6574 nah tim is one of the few who has verified credentials going back two generations of moonshiners. He's just the first to go legal.
This can't be real. I've been a cop for eleven years. If I saw someone making moonshine I'd want to know how it's made out of curiosity and give them a department patch and tell them to have a good day and don't catch anything on fire with that high proof heaven. Lmao.
Its exaggerated to fuck. i make a few gallons every week or 2 for personal consumption and its perfectly legal. I could sell it in my state with just a liquor license.
Its better than anything tho. Its always a smooth drunk and you never get a hangover. Plus YOU make it so there's pride to it. And im not some hillbilly, i live it suburbs and work a good job. Its just a relaxing hobby
"That's not ours intention..." === in my experience, 99% of the time someone says the word "intention" they actually intended to do whatever they're about to say was not actually their intention.
The last guys have a big sticker on the back of their truck saying "shine life" with a jar Inbetween the words, did they really think they were gonna fool the cop with that sticker haha
I find it hilarious how they have a whole tv show about these dudes making illegal moonshine but the cops can’t find em or catch on?????? Let me go commit a well planned armed robbery and I’ll still end up in jail whatever the outcome smh
Well most TV shows are fake and we all no it but still entertaining that's why we watch this show keeps me on the edge of my seat with action horror and drinking.
I'm really confused about the legality of moonshine and the fact that they have camera crews following them around doing this supposed illegal practice. Does the whole sheriff's office not watch tv? How is this footage not incriminating?
This is a legal gray area, and can vary from country to country, from state to state. Most states recognize that, if the activity is being recorded objectively and without interference/propagation from the 'director', the film-maker is protected under the first amendment: specifically relating to the freedom of the press. As long as the piece is a documentary (this is the 'grey area' bit, as it lays in proving this classification for the film) then the film maker is operating in a journalistic capacity... and thus can not be prosecuted or censored. If, however, witnesses or the authorities involved can prove in any way that the film maker coerced or influenced the 'criminal' to participate in their illegal activities, they can be charged as an accessory to the crime. In some instances, however, authorities can indeed intervene; although this is typically in the form of a subpoena to surrender the footage rather than a criminal charge. One extreme example of this is the case of WDAF-TV v McCASKILL (1996), wherein the defendants (WDAF-TV) had footage of a murder, and upon having the footage seized countersued: claiming a breach of privacy. Both sides were considered to be 'correct' in their appraisal, and it resulted in the Privacy Act being ammended to reflect what a grey area this sort of thing is.
@@hippo1985 You couldn't be more wrong, I get you want to sound smart but it ain't going to be happening here buddy. These aren't for documentary purposes because it's not a documentary. Huge difference between a reality TV show and a documentary. This doesn't fall under any of those laws or circumstances, they've already explained how it is no one gets in trouble. It's all fake dude they don't actually make any alcohol. Everything you see there is straight water and water vapor. Nothing's real so are the staged circumstances even the cops they run into our paid actors. If you did any research you would have known this already.
thats dare propaganda meth is gave out in pill form for adhd its called Desoxyn no drug besides some untested research chems wont fuck you up even after lots of uses its how often you use alcohol withdrawals can kill you alone unlike opiates meth mdma coke
They said that was Tennessee highway patrol lol. If you've ever seen THP you would know all there vehicles are Black and Tan with yellow stripe and the uniform is tan and dark green and they are strict with enforcing there uniform policy
@@lazisawsome413 I live in the mountains in TN, I see State out here all the time and Jamie is right. You might live in Nashville, but he's talking about state patrol. Sit down and stop thinking you know everything.
I'm from where moonshiners is filmed right here in Franklin County and NC. This show is not staged or faked. There was a contract there is a tax on what they make.
well none of y'all been shining so i see you don't know shit about nothing my Grammy got 3 years for the same shit yhat they do'n. but ya i can see how you might think it's a joke but it's not because if it were we make it all year round
If this was real they wouldn't dare FILM ANY of it. Its all scripted. I used to waste my time watching shit like this. Then one day I grew a fucking brain. Im here now to laugh at it.
Because it's literally scripted, literally like that Kardashian show where every stupid idiot literally says 'literally' when they literally mean 'actually'.
i love this show! it is a part of the 15% of shows that are worth a damn, when you have 125 channels. that is why i dropped cable tv, and catch episode segments here. thanks, you tube!
This husband and wife team were my favorite characters on moonshiners...too bad we don't see them on the show anymore..i think her name was tawnia..not sure...can't remember his name
Liquor stores are full of it. Only hobbists make illegal liquor and thats for curiosity. This isnt 1925. Its far more lucrative for deadbeats to get a social security check and buy booze at the store. Thats why the mountain highways are full of big billboard signs advertising law services and disability. You cant sell 'illegal' liquor for anymore than what you can easily get it at the store.. Its not worth it. Thats why all the boys looking for extra income in the hills raise/sell marijuana and make meth. This 'shinin' BS all died out long long ago... its a fantasy. its a story. The show is 100% complete fake.
I have run into cops just like that one. Same attitude....." I want you to go on and get outta here, and don't be back up here.".... REALLY,,, First,,,, This is a public roadway. Im sure of that, or you should not be on it. We dont need your permission to be "Up Here". What YOU WANT really don't matter..... Second,,,, Unless the law has changed in the last 5 minutes, driving around with apples and rye is legal, and what were doing with that grain, or those apples is really none of your business. ........ Last thing,,,,,,,What reason did you have for pulling me over today? Was I speeding or doing something wrong? Its really starting to seem to me that you are just harnessing us. Does my lawyer need to make a call to your captain and get this resolved or what. Now I understand that you guys are under the impression that you run things,,, I get it, I really do, but then there is also reality. Now im sure that its not your intention to stop and detain us illegally, so we will just be on our way, and the next time you think about stopping us, you either need to have damn good just cause to do so, like a valid traffic violation, or a warrant for our arrest in your hand with all the t's crossed and I's dotted, because you can bet you ass were going up stairs with it............. We have a dash cam just like you do, so we can just let the courts decide what they think about you telling us..... I want you to go on and get outta here, and don't be back up here.... when were standing on public land. These are just some things you might want to consider. You have a great day officer. There job is to protect and serve, not to harass people, make the laws, or make dept. policy. Only to enforce the ones on the books exactly as they are written. His position is best served in this case by making sure Digger and Mark get where they are going safely, and that no one steals there apples or grain.
