I am watching almost every youtube video of the youtube channel 'fruity knitting' as and when I come across them. I am also simultaneously trying for a full time job. I will subscribe to this youtube channel 'fruity knitting' of yours whenever I find the time to do so, provided that I feel confident that the creator(s) of this youtube channel uploads videos regularly on this youtube channel. I am learning a lot of life skills from the videos uploaded on this youtube channel which otherwise I would have found difficult to learn. I request the creator(s) of this youtube channel to upload videos of knitting work on this youtube channel regularly. Once again, thanks a lot for the knowledge you are imparting from this youtube channel.

I love the chemistry between you two!! As a language major, I find the mix of accents as intriguing as the knitting itself. Yours is the highest quality knitting channel I've found. I'm a happy Shetland patron.

Knitting and enjoying my afternoon tea, I thought ‘it would be so nice to have an episode of Fruity Knitting to watch.’ Two minutes later I got an email alert; a new podcast! And with Natasja Hornby! Wow! Thank you for your wonderful podcast. 😊

A geometric genius ❤

Wait, wait. Plastic bottles are made into all kinds of fabrics that are called 'fleece', but I have stopped buying and wearing this kind of fabric because, when you wash it, it sheds plastic and that plastic adds to all the other micro plastics in the sea. My understanding is that 'eco' is a misnomer for this kind of product.

I started watching Fruity knitting about four months ago when I started learning knitting, and I was searching in your old videos and watch them during working on my projects, I found that your videos are sooo inspiring with your projects you share and all amazing people you interview, Thank you❤

I was so pleased when I received the notification that there was a new episode of Fruity Knitting to watch while knitting with my morning tea. It was a beautiful episode, thank you. Now I'll continue catching up with previous episodes.

I love your birds in the nest. Alan's designs are so sweet! And you do it so beautifully. Your extreme knitting had me smiling all the way through. My first thought was I'm just missing the smells of an autumn walk but then I saw your birdies in the wild and I laughed out loud. And then Jack trying to climb the wall but settling for a doggy "Moonwalk" dance. I think this may be one of my favourite extreme knittings for the sheer joy it exudes! Pop Bottle Sock Yarn...now that's intriguing! Natasja's photo explanations are so simple but so clear! Such a wonderful interview in which her design process is explained. Loved it. Thank you so much for introducing me to Natasja's work. I often struggle with finding patterns that fit my body shape. I'm built much like Natasja and SO value a designer who models her own work and designs for a shape like ours. Even better --- I LOVE her style/aesthetic!

Natasja is such an innovative designer. She presented workshops in Austin 2 years ago. Sadly for me, they were all booked up. But I do remember when we all gathered to eat, she would come in every evening with about 2 other gals, and with them all wearing the same designs. It was fabulous! Thank you for this interview so we can learn more about her design process/construction.

I’ve had the luck to create many wonderful knits, but I think the Yara shawl is my finest creation to date. It is so intricate and lovely. Not so very difficult to make, but really an object that makes me so proud, and inspires a bit of wonder in those who see it.

A wool retreat on Texel is so fitting: it is the island of sheep, and more specifically the Texel sheep breed (that we call Texelaars). In spring there are thousands of lambs in the fields! It was a friend on Texel who got me back into knitting. I just wanted to humour her at first, but now I'm all in, and I just added some designs from Natasja to my ravelry queue :-)

This is one of your standout episodes! I loved Natasja's photography tutorial, especially placing the light source to the side of cables and her opinions about editing. Well done!

My instant reaction at seeing the Yvonne MT shawl was «hardangersøm». The apron on Norwegian Hardanger bunad is made with hardangersøm, the same edge as the shawl.

A retreat on Texel sounds lovely - all the Dutch Frisian islands are absolutely stunning 😍 We‘ve been sailing them for a few years now and I always look for knitters and wool, so far with little success.
