Drag racing is fun for a few seconds. Circuit racing is fun for a few hours. The two skillsets aren't even comparable.

That is awesome that you two went down there and had a great time. You two should try road racing it's a lot of fun and you might catch the bug and start building road racing bikes. There is a track about 2 hours from your shop called Carolina Motorsports Park.
