For the money the flash is the best mod you can do with best bang for your buck!! Some don't agree but those don't have a clue what they're talking about or drive extremely slow all the time. My bike spits fire from the exhaust now!!🔥💥😁 I love it!!

I have done 90 in 3rd, completely stock. Not red lined. Strange you were having to shift into 4th pre flash.

@@OnlyOneJosh Aint no way brother. It gets revved up no lie, but there aint no way you are redlining at 40 in 3rd unless something is wrong with your bike.

Maybe the bike will go 90 in 3rd gear stock? Not sure but I have to agree I definitely noticed a difference in that area after the ecu flash

@dennisherreid5393 yeah it would seem strange for a bike that goes like 120mph to be at 90 in 3rd gear and not even at redline, especially stock, but I can't say for certain so maybe??

It's always going to use a bit more fuel but not much. You're probably just using more performance as its a lot more enjoyable.

My wife has a 2019 Z650 and the throttle is super choppy especially since I installed a full two-brothers exhaust. Definitely looking forward to get it flashed

How long did it take to send and get back? Did u do expedited shipping

I did the normal shipping and I believe it took right about a full week to get it back maybe a few days longer

No you do not. The only line you have to disconnect is one of the vent tubes

Ecu flash will be a better option. Power commander just intercepts the ecu data to the injectors. Ecu flash actually changes the fuel and ignition map

Theres other options besides PC5 or 6 that i think is better, Rapid Bike has a adaptable tuning module that is really nice & can do a lot, but doesn't handle ignition timing just the fuel. Although nothing beats a dyno tune! Remember this flash eliminates the O2 so whatever the fuel map is its locked in & will never have any adjustments from the ECU, but its miles above the factory lean fuel tables! If i had to choose one it would be the ecu flash or dyno tune\with mods & flash, hands down. Flash lowers fan temps which i really like, rev limiter change, the secondary throttle plates opened, fuel cut on deceleration & removes CEL from things like sprocket size change. Mine spits fire from the exhaust now🔥💥that was worth the flash price to me!😁 Moore Mafia has a video of the 650 ninja dyno & flash if you haven't watched it.

Hello brother I get z650 2022 I would like to make an ecu flash but I want to leave the original exhaust because of the noise, only change the air filter and the map. Do you think it would increase the hp and the final speed. how much do i pay for flash ecu

Hi, yes you could definitely keep the stock exhaust and get this flash. You can search Moore mafia up on google and look at his site for pricing. He requires you to send in what modifications you have done to the bike. Even if it’s stock you can get some power increase but more importantly you get a smoother over all tune and power from the bike

Mine has seen 136 since the flash with stock gears! That wasn't hitting the limiter, i think it would do at least one or two more.

@@rocknraptor3195 When you say limiter do you mean the lights telling you to shift? that isnt set in stone, you can change and adjust that holding the two buttons by the screen, or not use it.

Not all ECU allow that. But, most bikes have air injection system that puts oxygen into the exhaust system after the exhaust port, to aid the catalytic converter. If you de-cat with a full system, that O2 going into the exhaust is going to combust with fuel when you roll off throttle, giving the crackle and pops. I think the tuning you're talking about probably causes the injectors to spray more on the off-throttle which would make a lot more exhaust system combustion noises. Essentially wasting fuel for noise. Using more fuel isn't going to be "rich running" but proper air/fuel ratio after the flash. If you got a flash without also a carefully developed fuel and ignition map from a bike Chris tuned on his dyno with the same exhaust system, intake filter, and similar climate (altitude, temperature, humidity), you will still have some room for better air/fuel ratio tuning where you normally ride. Tuners who possess the same bike for a longer term tuning project will often tune it on dyno and then go out in the real world and develop the tuning a lot more based on actual riding conditions, making finer adjustments to throttle and fuel and ignition maps, both partial and full throttle map numbers. The Z650 isn't that kind of bike for most tuners, who focus on their core market like the superbikes.
