Thanks for the video! Exactly what I was looking for. What's your vlogging setup? Noticed very little wind noise even after you kicked it up into highway speeds.
@@812moto I also have purple panda mic with a wind screen on the mic but you can tell from my videos I get a lot more wind noise. Trying to figure out what the issue is. What helmet do you use? I have a Shoei RF-1400
@@812moto I just got the same SC slip just like yours installed on my ZX6R but I have to use ear plug already. I’m thinking about just keep it that way 😂. It looks really good though with the new link pipe.
When automotive manufacturers start charging fees to unlock “features”, or even worse “subscriptions”, you can count on one thing. I’m going to steal 2x the value in race parts from that manufacturer. Please do the same
I need help pleas.
why tune it? Sorry, but you probably do not know how to use all those 208 HP and tune it even more? Why? Then everybody is complaining how many problems the bike has ....
Great mod, do not know why the manufactures cannot offer more confy ergos and have brutal race tuck as an option. I will be getting these for my 2024 ZX6!
We’re getting to the point, thanks to the newfound ubiquitousness of boost, grip, and electric…that bikes aren’t nearly as much quicker than cars as they used to be sadly. I mean obviously compared to any given pos on the road most bikes will still mop them up. But it used to be that basically any bike would destroy even the higher performance cars. Just not the case anymore, some of that is being clawed back with modern tech finally coming to bikes like traction, wheelie, and launch control and quickshifters with auto blip etc but getting a flawless launch on a bike will always be harder and more rewarding than these modern cars
Very true. Lots of modern cars can launch super hard with no wheel spin because of how fine tuned they are. But I still give it to the top tier of bikes for the raw power and acceleration
Fellow Streetfighter V4S owner here from Vancouver Canada, I liked your SC-Project video so much, I'm thinking of ordering one (probably with a Bren Tune). BtW, I'm pretty sure i heard that music from the first part of this video in a 1990's porn movie 😅
I bought a black 1390 last Friday, Tech Pack was unlocked with 1 mile on the bike. Naturally, crashed it the next day on my first long ride.. riding like a dick. Insurance will most likely total it and I'm considering just buying a SF V4S to replace it. Coming from a Gen2 1290 the 1390 felt a little soft (Performance mode, Track throttle) and even though the chassis and suspension is a huge upgrade from the Gen2, it's still got a tractor feel that I just can't get over. I'd be interested in riding one with the OFT flash once that's available, Shiv has shown that they'll make ~180whp with a flash and the factory mapping has a huge lean spot between 4500 and 6000 RPM where the cam changeover happens. I bet it's a lot better after the flash.
Yes i am excited to get a flash and a pipe on this thing. As far as I can feel with my little knowledge of mapping it feels spot on stock. I do know a flash is required if you want to remove the exhaust flap. I tried on mine and instant limp mode. We have some upcoming SFV4 vs 1390 SDR content coming soon as well!
youll love the akra its loud enough but not TOO loud lik this is. I would get so many tickets with this. The akra is a great choice i do not regret getting mine on my SFv4s.
streetfighter isnt close to 230bhp, closer to 170-80 on dyno with stock exhaust, they lie about the power of that bike. The 1390 i think is heavily limited before its first service? I road a demo today, before its 1st service and my 1290 had more torque and instant delivery. 1290 Not as refined as the 1390 though. The Duke also has alot more torque than the streetfighter, it definitely is faster, in at any rpm, at any time, and 2x more responsive. V4 starts to shine equally, or possibly more than the 1290, after 100mph though. Tell me what you think after your first service is done and if you notice a difference.
It’s not really limited during break in. It is limited in the standard modes like street and sport. Performance mode and track mode really transform the bike. I was also surprised with how much top end power the bike has. It doesn’t really feel like a big twin you do have to rev it out to get peak torque. And I was referring to power at the motor on the Ducati since they rate it about 205 at the motor.
Also, try the bike in performance mode with sport or track throttle response. Street response is lazy and all the standard modes I believe only use street throttle mode. It is a handful in track response and a good middle ground in sport. I always ride in sport throttle
@@812moto i only had 1hr with it, i was in track, wheelie control off, 2 on the traction control, dealer told me after 1st service it wake up since it is limited, but im not sure how true it was, they said i can try it again after its done enough miles for its first service, but honestly i thought my 1290 was more responsive, and probably more torque sooner on to, dont know if its how KTM has tuned the bike or if what dealer said was true, but im sure my 1290 was more responsive and ready to go. However as i was shifting through the gears i could notice to power in that 1390 and that new camshift technology, i could hold a stable wheelie much easier on the 1390, wasnt up and down and a bit unpredictable like my 1290, quickshifter was butter and faster to, suspension was noticeably better and still comfy. more feel from the front tire to, very easy to ride, would be a blast around twisties or the track, i just wasnt completely sold and wasnt sure if id miss my 1290 if i got the 1390 as funny as that sounds.
Does it say Race Pro or Race Evo when you startup the bike??? I'm looking for the best option to tune mine with. I only have 50 miles left for the break-in period 😈
