This video is great, especially the detail and graphics of this wonderful route. I would love to volunteer as a driver when i am older. If i volunteer at the MVR would i have to do normal jobs before i could be trained as a driver. Thanks, Brad

Hello, all of our volunteer drivers start off with a number of other roles and jobs before they do any driving. We have a very thorough driver training process, you have to be 18 to drive with passengers. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers so once you are 16 get in touch and you can come and see us and see what it is like to volunteer.

@Moors Valley Railway, I would love to, i am 15 now. What sort of jobs would i be put into do when i start volunteering. Will it be work on the railway or off the railway, (working in the shop/kiosks) when can a volunteer start to train as a driver. Is it up to the volunteer when they want to start, or the company. Thanks
