The things i do for content XD
Yesterday, i was given the opportunity to visit the Moors Valley Railway for their "Tinkerbell 50" event! This celebrated 50 years since roger marsh completed the first of his Tinkerbell class miniature locomotive, which has grown to the most popular 7 1/4inch gauge design in the world. The original 1968 locomotive (as well as a few modified and original designs) resides at the Moors Valley Railway in Hampshire, On the 22nd and 23rd of September, over 15 Tinkerbell class locomotives went over to the line for a giant birthday bash, and giant it was.
I was also granted full line side access as the railways event videographer. I would like to thank James Luther for asking me, i had a great time!
Now as much as id love to list all the locomotives featured in the gala, i really cant! So here's a link to the Facebook page if you want more info - / moorsvalleyrailway
One more thing, the weather. OH GOD THE WEATHER! The weather was absolutely awful which was a huge shame! This also meant that many of the shots had to be cut due to water in the microphone. This is why the audio of the last 7 or so shots are slightly off. Sorry!
Anyway, that's enough from me. Enjoy the longest single video of the channel! :)

these small trains are cool, i would like to operate a large small railroad like this one day, or at least make a locomotive to use for events like this

By the look of the wagon at 4:16 and in the video title, I would say that this is the Moors Valley Railway in Hampshire, UK

Excellent video of a beautiful railway. Could someone explain the purpose of the linkage coming off the back wheel to under the cab? I’m wondering if it works a feed pump?

It's called the banana link, it's actually part of the heywood valve gear
