A very very good day indeed.
After my recent days of volunteering at this line, i thought i should take my camera, head to the lineside and get filming. And what better day to do this than the Summer Steam Gala with locos everywhere!

A very very good video indeed, thank you MI Rail ! Nice to see Talos and Sapper again, first time I saw Sapper was on the track at Tucktonia, running in for it's first season. Collected my Tinkerbell drawings and castings from Roger Marsh in Hinckley the year before. As for Talos and Horton, each time they came into view they seemed to have notched-up a bit, MVR top link crew trying to beat Mallard ?

great video. they always put on a good show. some brilliant shots from some different locations. shame about the derailment but im sure it was sorted pretty quick being miniatures. I enjoyed the performance of the double heading talos and horton top stuff.

0:30 - ha! we were talking about steam rallies etc. at work and were saying there is always that one attraction where it is a static engine that seems to be firing only once every 20 strokes, while its owner just sits next to it in a chair.
