I completely understand that with these Chinese companies that don't produce the same model for years (or even months) you can't possibly test every variant, but I am curious to know if the k24 differs in any meaningful way from the k17. Based upon this video and Amazon reviews, I bought the k24. So far, I have been very pleased. We have very little carpet, so I mostly wanted something to hit the hardwoods 1-2 times each day to pick up the detritus of a large dog and 5 people in semi-quarantine. For that use, and not having owned any cordless stick vacs before, I am very pleased with the Moosoo.
So i bought the Moosoo K17. It's powerful and silent compared to my old vacuum. But on first use got clogged twice. And i can already see the hair accumulating on it (my wife has long hair). The battery runs out quick for me, and i have to constantly empty it, which is a pain too because not everything falls when you open it up, you have to really remove every piece to get all OFF. I you are bald and have a clean house i would recommend it. Otherwise get something with a bigger tube. I don't know what works against hair, K17 does not.
@@VacuumWars what models/brands could i look into (from the top of your head)? less clog prone and better with hair, with a bigger dust container. PS: i understand the price will go up.

You sold me on the K17 but I ended up getting the cool looking Moosoo M24 and I like it very much so far. Its filter is much improved over the K17, fine steel mesh into a foam cylinder, into a hepa disk... they also added a hunk of fiber media and a glue sealed hepa membrane on the exhaust vents as well, I think it should pass the fog test. I paid $140
its an ok vacuum. Mine unfortunately broke (the plastic broke at the top).. but hey.. it was so cheap that you can't expect much it lasted 2 years. The suction is ok... it will pick up debris and most stuff but do not expect it to pick up fine dust on hard floors.. you will have to sweep with a swiffer wet after. If you want truly clean floors.
Your vacuum reviews are absolutely the best. Here's what I'd like to see. A test of the cordless Moosoo vs the corded equivalent. What are the tradeoffs? How much better suction do you get with the corded model (if you do at all)? Perhaps if I search through your videos I'll find a comparison something like that which might help me, even if it's for a different brand. Thanks!
Just a heads up, since this review, it looks like they changed the brush head on the 618A to match the style of K17 so I wonder if it would perform better on the hair tangle test. Also curious if they improved other issues like clogging.
The 618-A has an upgraded nozzle exactly like on the K17. For the price, I'm very happy with this stick vac. It struggles with hairy carpet, but anyone who is attempting to use a stick vac as a replacement for a full-sized should rethink that decision. Even the Dyson V15 wont deep clean much better than the most basic Bissell upright.
I would love to see your test of the lg a9, samsung jet, sharp and other cordless stick vacuums from korea and japan. Some of them are easier to get than others and some have mopping attachments. Thanks for the solid reviews
I just purchased the most current Moosoo model k24 for my college age daughter. I do have a dyson v8 (for myself) which I prefer. I purchased the K24 for my daughter who needed a vacuum that would perform well without being a space hog and without costing four times as much. I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the k24. The one thing that I absolutely DO NOT like is that the manual says you should not “over charge” the battery. I’m guessing this means do not leave it plugged in? Who plugs in a cordless vacuum and then remembers to unplug it a whole 5 hours later? I love that I can leave my Dyson on the charger when I am not using it. It always has a full charge when I need it and I don’t have to think about it or remember to unplug it. I vacuum at least once a day and usually twice. I have used the Moosoo twice now to test it out. I have already forgot to unplug the Moosoo after it reached full charge. I noticed the Moosoo battery status lights were on this morning when I walked past it, so I’m pretty sure it cannot stay plugged in. My Dyson on the other hand stops charging (battery indicator lights are off) once full charge is reached. This seems like a pretty big hassle to me because if the battery is constantly overcharged it will wear out fast and be costly to replace. Anyone out there leave their Moosoo plugged in all the time without noticing battery wear? I’m torn as to whether or not I should keep looking for another vacuum. I know that once my daughter uses the vacuum and plugs it in to recharge she will not give it a second thought for a week or two when she decides to vacuum again lol.
Lithium ion batteries absolutely require a charge controller or else they would catch fire. So your vacuum definitely has it and charge will cut off when full. They only say to unplug it for liability reasons in the unlikely event something goes wrong and it "blows up".
Would the Moosoo K17 be a worthwhile upgrade if you're still rockin an old Dyson DC56? I hadn't really thought about battery tech and safety. Li-ion with charge controller is certainly a reason why other products like powertools or drones costs more than others.

I just bought a K17 brand new shipped to my door off of eBay for 94.99. I bought it based off of this review. It’s a great vacuum. It’s light, powerful, and very easy to clean. You literally just open the tray and everything falls out. Great purchase.

I JUST received my moosoo k17 today from Amazon. I bought it Friday and for $50 less for being prime week. Even researched your channel to see if you had done a video on it before purchasing. So glad I got the k17 as I checked all of their vacs out before deciding. I used it today and I was floored by how well it did (I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are constantly in and out of the house). This vac is the real deal! And I got it for $119. It's actually still this price! Honestly this vac is amazing and so awesome to see your video confirming it! Sweet and thanks for the great video!!
It's also super quiet! I have a shark corded stick and it's more quiet than that. It honestly made me happy I didn't splurge on the Dyson when I used this
N&A Galletti I would not recommend the moosoo for mainly carpet use really. I have mainly hard floors and the suction is great to get those clean of pet hair/dirt. I have a short pile area rug that I use the moosoo on as well and it cleans it but it doesn't really deep clean it if you know what I mean. Just to acceptable standards. I have a shark corded stick vacuum as well and that works great on my carpet but I can't say how great the shark cordless would be on carpet. Dyson is honestly the way to go with carpet in my opinion esp for cordless choices.
Life100 Hi. Yes the moosoo is still working and working well. I use it daily for in between cleans and then once a week use my corded vacuum. I have long hair and shed horribly and what's great is the roller bar never gets tangled with hair unlike my shark corded. It's great for mainly hardwood floors but if you have a lot of carpet I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. Honestly at that point save the $120 and just keep saving for a Dyson cordless.
I’ve had it a year now. I like it very much and am happy with my purchase. We use it daily. No issues so far. My wife thinks we need a Dyson. I disagree. For the money, this is a very good value.
You should cover the filters! I have the 618a and you have to clean the filters after every use and it is such a pain and very messy. I found this unacceptable and will buy a different vacuum.
They advertise it as having a hepa filter, i assume that is a lie since it didnt pass the filtration test? There is a new k23 model on amazon, perhaps that is better
Check out his video called “Don’t buy cheap vacuum cleaners - 2 reasons” . He explains this in detail, you not only need hepa but a complete seal system to keep air clean.
Thank you for reviewing the Amazon special. I ended up buying a Tineco based in your review. We have a Dyson v7 at work and I greatly prefer the Tineco. Excellent vac especially for the price.
@@frannypie. Hi there, unfortunately the vac was not a good fit for my family's needs and we opted to return it to Amazon. It felt flemsy, battery was not that great and debris bin too small; it just felt weak overall. We chose a robot vacuum and are much more pleased.

I've had the J17 for a year, and its performance is decent. But, you get what you pay for. It won't stand on its own and the black plastic will leave marks on your wall if you prop it up. I removed the canister to empty it and dropped it at less than two feet and the trap door cracked. I taped the door closed and i empty it by removing the filter. The battery life is definitely starting to drop. If anything else goes wrong with it it's garbage. I've also seen this exact vacuum sold on Amazon under a different company name.
Question is the moosoo corded stick vac (red) the same as the cordless in terms of suction & power that you layed out here? Live in a apartment. Have a small area rug. Mostly tile & hardwood. Suffer from back problems/pain. Cordless is nice, but not really needed for me. Not going far. Although I'm only 5 feet tall, so dusting in higher areas is. :) Near decided on the moosoo.Ty so much for doing these. So helpful.
I have the m24 and the head brush stopped working. Would any other head fit? They discontinued m24 and don't offer it's parts for sale. They really discontinue their models every few months. What a joke of a company. Great review by the way. I'm a big fan of your channel.
i have had the 618a for about half a year and can honestly say its crap. not great on hard floors at all. i have since ordered a dyson v11 torque drive.
Now in 2021, which cordless stick vacuum do you like best where the battery stays attached to the vacuum to charge. The vacuum stands upright on floor (sits in a stand or other method) and the charging wire plugs into the battery still attached to the vacuum and you plug it into the wall to charge. Great test, would the XL 168b be a better fit for run time? 15 kpa vs 10/17 kpa on the Moosoo K17? I noticed only the crevice test failed but if you have another vacuum surely that would work for it? LMK. Still stuck between the B and the K17. Oh and what about charging time?

I got the 618A and it unfortunately shipped to me without a filter element. I cannot find a filter available for this vacuum anywhere and am going to have to return it. It’s unfortunate because it seems rather well built otherwise

Mimi Luvvv the filter one the K17 is flawless! (At least for me) allergies are a huge problem for me (especially with my beloved pets around) but the K17 and it’s filter, pick up virtually everything! 100% recommend.
