"Mop is a shaggy-haired sheep-dog, Smiff a bright-eyed tabby cat. They live in the village on the hill, where daydreams are free and wishes come true.
Mop takes a boat trip, and Smiff wishes she had kittens."
(Radio Times)
Recorded mostly in the village of Belmont and at Hollingworth Lake, a 130-acre reservoir and country park, both in Lancs. Also features the Lady Alice, a 34' pleasure boat that provided trips around the lake each summer until 2009.

This recording is from the personal archive of my friend Mike Amatt who passed away last year. I have uploaded this on 31st August 2022, which would have been his 73rd birthday.
If you'd like to make a contribution to a worthy cause that Mike supported, then please choose either the British Heart Foundation or a reputable children's charity in your country.
