Nice tutorial Shawn, I watched Tim Cammisa's micro mop video using the bug shops ultra chenille he got from you. (Piscator on youtube used the same material for a recent sucker spawn tutorial - it looked great) The mop bodies you sell, are they cut from the cleaning mops you buy? You have a nice selection of colors. It's two years since posting this video, have you "moped" the steelhead on the Salmon R yet with this fly? Thanks Shawn, always great tutorials!

Shawn ... how effective have you found this pattern to be on the local Blair County wild brown trout?

I tie the same fly but use an orange or pink tungsten bead with the collar the same way you tied it. I use a big scud hook. Steelhead like it.

would it float without the lead?

Do you use this for carp also?
